The BasicsName: Trevor Sue Cunningham
Nicknames: T, and some not so nice ones from his students
Age: 28
Orientation: Asexual, Homo-romantic
Desired Rank/Job: Trainer
Powers: Biological Manipulation
Trevor uses this power to manipulate others' body tissue and heal wounds. He has to physically touch a person to do this. Though he's been told he could use his power to worse an injury, he's refused to even attempt to train that side of his power. Trevor is very skilled at healing cuts and broken bones, but he has more trouble with helping illnesses.
While manipulating another's body, Trevor's own body will mirror the pain from the other's injury/malady. Depending on the extent of the injury, Trevor will also have additional aches and pains (usually in his head and hands) and the process will leave him physically exhausted. Though he has never fully tested the limits of his ability, Trevor can not re-grow limbs or heal anything more than non-lethal illnesses. He cannot cure cancer or HIV/AIDS. Trevor cannot manipulate his own biology.
Play By: Jensen AcklesThe DetailsHair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Green
Any Piercings? None
Any Tattoos? None
Any Scars? Several, the most notable appear on his back (see history)
General Appearance: Trevor doesn't tend to worry much about his appearance. He's more concerned with comfort. That said, he does shower and wear clothing that makes him looks a bit like he cared, though this is more the influence of his fiance. If Trevor could, he'd walk around everywhere with no shirt, bare feet, and tattered, old, worn in jeans. And though that's his usual outfit on evenings and weekends, it's not a look he can get away with at work. He still wears jeans, but tosses on a button-down shirt (rolled up at the sleeve no matter the weather) and a pair of boots.
Trevor likes to keep his hair on the short side, it annoys him when it's long enough he can grab it in the back. He keeps his facial hair trimmed to the constant scruff look. Trevor compulsively trims his fingernails so they always look a bit too short and like they might hurt, though they don't bother him much.
Trevor moves with purpose. This doesn't mean that he's graceful exactly, just that he tends to look like he knows what he's doing. When he's still he's very still. When he's moving, it's always with a plan. He's never been know to be a klutz. Even the way he holds himself when standing or sitting tends to look composed, though not always in a natural way. It's like he's thinking about being still.
Trevor grew up in the mountains of North Carolina. Even after living in the north since a teenager, he still speaks with a southern drawl.
Personality: Trevor has two distinct modes. Work Trevor and Play Trevor. Someone who knows Trevor outside of work might think he has some sort of personality disorder because of how different he acts. But really it's just that Trevor firmly believes there is a time to have fun and a time to get down to business. The two hardly every overlap.
Work Trevor is no nonsense, very strict, and often a bit harsh. He's all business and doesn't have much time for small talk. He pushes his students hard and tends to keep his interactions with his co-workers simple and short. Trevor at play is much more laid back and goofy. He even makes jokes and smiles. Away from work, Trevor is rarely serious.
It's not that Trevor doesn't like his job, he actually loves it. He also really likes people. The problem is that it takes him forever to feel comfortable around anyone to be able to show them his more laid back side. That and Trevor spends a majority of his time trying not to show his feelings. He thinks it makes him look weak. He actually does feel things, very deeply, perhaps even too much sometimes. But he bottles them away where no one can see. Even around people that Trevor trusts, he tends to make a joke out of everything and keep seriousness at bay.
Though he does yell a lot, he's never been a violent man. Still he can get a bit scary when he gets mad.
Trevor may not always show it, but he does enjoy helping others. Of course he can be particular about who he helps and such since he doesn't believe in helping people who don't even try to help themselves. And since he loves keeping to the background, his favorite kind of helping is something he can do anonymously.Your VicesLikes:

Taylor Ward - his brother-in-law-to-beHistoryTrevor grew up in the Appalachian mountains in North Carolina. His neighbors were few and far between and kept to themselves. In his area people kept to their own business. While the environment was great for a boy who loved exploring the outdoors, it was also bad for the family. Trevor's mother was a very strict, angry, and violent woman. Trevor's father, on the other hand, was very mild and tending to shy away from conflict. The result was she took out a lot of her issues on Trevor and his brothers. When she had a bad day or something went wrong in the house, it was he and his brothers who had to pay while their father went out to work on his truck, go hunt, or anything to not have to be a witness. Because of the area they lived in and his father's reluctance to stand up to his wife or back up his children, the abuse went on for a while. Besides her fists, their mother's weapon of choice was to use an old power chord to whip the boy's backs and once used a hot fire poker to burn Trevor's back as well. Like their father, the boys learned to just try to stay out of her way and keep their heads down. They even leaned to stop standing up for each other.
It wasn't until Trevor turned ten that someone finally stepped in. A new school teacher moved into the area and was shocked to find Trevor washing his shirt in the bathroom one day. His back had started bleeding during school and he hadn't wanted anyone to see.
Trevor and his brothers lived in a group home for two and a half years while Melvin, their uncle on their father's side, worked to get custody of them after they were taken out of their parent's home. Melvin was a good man, but didn't make quite enough to support three teenage boys and it was hard for him to make the trip to fight for them in court and deal with the red tape. Still he made a point of making the drive from Texas to visit them from time to time to check on them.
It was during his time at the group home that Trevor's power manifested. One of the younger boys had fallen and sprained his ankle. When Trevor tried to help him up the boy's ankle started to heal while Trevor's own ankle started to scream in pain. A recruiter from Hammel arrived a few days later. The same day his uncle Melvin was finally awarded custody. Though he and his uncle still kept in contact, Trevor knew that his uncle was glad to have one less Cunningham boy to worry about.
Trevor's roommate at Hammel was Taylor Ward. He was also his first real friend. It was hard for Trevor to relax and just be a kid, but Taylor was patient. Taylor's brother rocked the boat a little when he too came to Hammel, but Trevor started to open up to Nicky as well. It was slow. Mostly because Trevor realized that he had feeling for the other boy, feelings that he was horrified to act on or even admit. Though Trevor didn't interact with many other students at Hammel, he did work hard in his classes and at training.
As graduation approached, Trevor had a bit of a hard time. He was afraid of leaving Hammel. Afraid to enter the adult world and leave the only place he had ever felt safe. He knew he wasn't a college kind of guy, but he also knew that it was hard to get a good job without a college education. He felt Nicky was a bit lucky because he knew he wanted to be an electrician. Trevor had no clue. On a whim, he applied to Green Mountain College. He liked that it was close enough that he could live with Nicky and commute. His first two years he bounced around with different majors before finally finding one that fit with him: Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies.
Still after graduation, he wasn't sure what his next step should be. He tried to get a job in the parks department, but surprised himself by missing a human connection. So again he was lost. He didn't know what else he would be good at. It was his own trainer who actually spoke to him about working at Hammel. He had seen the way Trevor gave help to the other students. Though Trevor wasn't exactly kind about how he went about it, underneath all of that detached gruffness, his trainer saw a boy who actually did care about others and wanted to give back.
Trevor trained at Hammel to be a trainer and then started taking students of his own. Because of his tough, non-laided back attitude, he tended to work well with the more troubled students, sometimes with student who had past similar to his own. And though he complained about it sometimes, he really did enjoy the work. It felt good to give back, even though some of his students drove him nuts.
Recently, Trevor made another big step in his life he thought he never would, he got engaged to Nicky. It still scares him a little to be making a commitment like that, mostly because he can't get out of his head how messed up his parent's relationship was and he worries about carrying on that tradition. Still he loves his boyfriend and is fiercely protective of him.Roleplay ExamplePlease see Harmony, JJ, Stefan, Zeb, Grady, and/or Justin. What About You?Name: Abe
