Though it might not have looked like it from the outside, Trevor really did enjoy his job. He found meaning in being able to give back to the next generation of metas. Still, he also believed in tough love and could be hard on his students, particularly the trouble makers. This lead to some of the students thinking he was a hard ass with no understanding of the concept of fun. This wasn't entirely true, though it was true that Trevor believed there was a time and place for fun and that wasn't usually in the training room.
Luckily the younger Trevor wasn't one of his more troublesome students, so he wasn't as hard on the boy. Even luckier, he still had some cookies that his fiance had made for his students for Trevor to enjoy.
Trevor had just finished setting up some slides for the kid to practice his power on, when he heard the door to the training room open.
"Have a treat if you want before we get started," he said, motioning to where they were sitting without looking up from finishing setting up.
