Were he capable of getting mad he would have surely done so by now, all she seemed to do was repeat what he said in a questioning tone. But in the end it was a conversation and one about Rayne, no less. Prying or not, she did keep him talking where just five minutes ago he had no idea what to say.
''Because of my name.'' He repeated just as she did, though without the question mark slapped to the end of it. He totally assumed by this point she still knew what his name was and would see the tie between those two facts, and the way in which she didn't ask seemed to confirm that thought.
He closed his eyes for a second and held back a sigh without even knowing it. ''Because she has family there.'' Or she was on vacation, or something else. This girl really liked to ask the most obvious things, and even if she didn't she would still ask pretty straight forward stuff.
