Beck couldn't believe he was reassigned trainers. He was just getting used to the previous one, granted he wasn't very cooperative with them. But then again, he was never really one to cooperate with grown ups. He didn't like getting told what to do, even if they were just trying to help him. He could figure things out on his own thank you very much. Now he was being put under the charge of a guy he didn't even know. He was miffed having to see this guy. Not to mention from what little he heard of the guy, Mr. Meian was strict, and usually given the difficult kids. Beck wasn't that bad, was he?
When it came to school, Beck knew he sucked. He tries but still ends up scraping by. He didn't feel that was the case with his training though. As far as he was concerned, it was one of the few things he was decent at. Other than the dizzy spells and pain when shifting, there wasn't much to it. Even the pain would settle down the more he reused a substance. So far he was pretty good with shifting to wood.
The boy wandered down the hall of training rooms. Whether he wanted to or not, Beck was still seeing his new trainer. He glanced down back at his schedule with the room number he was to go to. "One-oh-six" He kept repeating to himself as he scanned the numbers above the doors, and stopped at the matching one. Beck quickly tapped a knuckle on the door before entering. The room was a pretty empty training room, just like most of the others. Only there was a tall man in there... Very tall.
"Uh, hi? Are you Mr. Melan?" He asked the giant in the room, mispronouncing the name to sound like melon. He had misread the tittle and I as one lower case L on his schedule. "I'm Beck Grenier... Your new student."
