Who doesn't like the excitement of a firehouse? Madison Davis and Kingston Carmichael have been sent out to help the Pilot Ridge Volunteer Fire Department get into the Spirit of Pride with decorations and thematic chili.

Why was he still volunteering? Kingston really disliked it. Too much interaction with people. The technopath much rather be in his room with his laptop. Some how his parents in Montana got him to volunteer. Twice now. Instead of being in crowded mall, he was in the firehouse. The firehouse was a little less nerve racking for Kingston.

The good thing was there was one familiar face to Kingston. He and girl from the mall got paired up again. Since he already knew Madison it made things a little easier for him. Today's task was also a little easier. They had to help decorate the firehouse and do something with chili.

Kingston gave Madison a little nod in acknowledgment. Kingston picked up a banner to hang on the wall.
