First day of Training [Jude]

Avery woke up abruptly at the sound of her alarm clock. It was seven o'clock and time to take a shower. Today was her official first day at the school and she had to meet her powers training coach. Slamming her fist down hitting the alarm off, Avery slowly opened her eyes. Stretching her arms above her head with a soft moan, then rubbing her eyes.

Slowly she got out of bed and slipped on her bunny slippers. It was a little cold and Avery felt it. Giving a slight shake she shuffled her way to the bathroom. Turning on the hot water for the shower she sighed. Walking back into her room as she let the water heat up she got her clothes out. Avery was always stylish.

Today she picked her pink Adidas shirt with black Adidas Capri pants and her grey and pink Adidas sneakers. Avery wasn't one for mismatching items. Even though it was a workout outfit she knew it would bother her not to look her best. Grabbing her pink fluffy robe, she went to the bathroom and jumped in the shower.

Quickly taking a shower and brushing her teeth she finished getting ready. Not even blow drying her hair she put it into a bun. Putting her outfit on and grabbing her black Adidas duffel she walked out her dorm room. Looking at a student map to find out where the field she was going to was, she started to walk a little faster. Seeing the field she looked at her phone to see the time. 'Dang its almost nine' she mumbled as she jogged to the field. Noticing nobody was there once she got there she took a deep breath. Sitting down she relaxed.

The morning for Jude was fairly self explanatory - he was probably one of the only morning people you would ever meet in your life. And oddly childish amount of energy was evident in just about everything he did, which included waking up in the morning. His roommate was significantly less enthusiastic to wake up in the morning, but Jude always made him do so because the brunette could not actually cook for himself. And he really loved pancakes.

The lack of his roommate's energy to actually get up on time to make him pancakes was the reason he was running late that morning. But the mime didn't particularly care. He was perfectly content walking to school, his feet bare, but flip flops dangling in hand. His backpack has the profiles of the few students he'd be training with that day - which he was quite excited for, actually. A new student had just arrived at the school, and been assigned to his training course, which always made him happy. The young adult enjoyed being around people, which made his job all the more wonderful for him. He was humming, grinning ear-to-ear as he walked up the hill to the training fields, his feet dampened by the morning dew.

The first thing that popped into mind when he saw his new trainee was the word, "pink" associated with the copious amounts of said colour that she was currently sporting. Jude waved at the teenager, jogging up to her quickly. "Hi! You must be Avery!" He said with large smile, greeting the significantly shorter blonde. "I'm Jude, I'll be training you... Uh... How are you?" He remembered to be polite as he fished her file out of his worn backpack and flipped it open, eyes flickering to the text momentarily before looking back at her. Weather manipulator. What fun!

Avery was peeking at the grass as she looked around the feild. Everything seemed calm and relaxing, she enjoyed it. Soon she saw someone jogging to the field. 'that must be my training coach' She spoke to herself as she started to get up. Wiping the grass off her she smiled as he approached.

"Yea I'm...uh..Avery. I'm good thank you. You must be Mr.Wilde, right?" Avery wasn't quite certain, she only glanced at the name and place they gave her. Being still a new school she was quite unsure of herself. "So...um...I'm very new at this. What are we going to do? Like how does this work?" She sighed out a deep breath as she looked at the guy in front of her.

Never had she seen a teacher quite like him. Flip flops, and curly brown hair.It wasn't overly curly but it had some wave.He dressed more like a student then a teacher for sure. Avery wasn't quite sure what to think. Her eyes where puzzled and her body a little stiff. After all she was kinda shy.

Looking at his eyes she dropped her Adidas bag. "I hope I'm dressed appropriately. I wasn't quite sure what this class is all about. I assumed it might be something like a gym class only with powers. I was kinda not prepared."

Jude grinned up at the girl as he finished scanning her file - fairly good, nothing horribly out of the ordinary about her. Luckily he didn't get one of the difficult children that are too stubborn to try at controlling their powers. The mime was never particularly enthusiastic about those training session. For good reason. Avery seemed a bit nervous, which was to be expected from first time students and trying to harness their abilities.

"No, I'm not Mr. Wilde. I'm Jude." He corrected with a smile that nearly cracked his face. He never much liked the formality. "And awesome! I'm glad you got here alright, some of the recruiters can be a bit scary." He said, looking around suspiciously to make sure none of the recruiters were lurking around, waiting for him to utter such words, just to pounce on him. Finding the coast was clear, he straightened again and scratched the back of his neck with a smile. "Well, we can work on utilizing your power, which is pretty cool. And fairly low stress. You just try to accomplish a small task using your ability which we can build off of."

"Or," He continued with emphasis, "I can use my ability, mimicking your ability and see what level you're on, which is my ability. Though I'd like to see where you are now."

The brunette paused momentarily, "Or we can just lay in the grass and stare at the clouds. I'm cool with that too." He smiled widely.

Avery smiled. It seemed that Jude was an easy going teacher. Which was great for her, because that meant she could relax a little bit. Her smiled went from cheek to cheek showing off her dimples as she gave a small laugh. "I would love to lay in the grass, but....well....to be honest..." Avery scratched at her necklace. "I really hate not having control. Every time I let my emotions loose something happens. Rain, snow, Hail...or worse...a tornado." Avery looked down at the ground trying to relax.

"I try just to smile all the time and that seems to help. So whatever you think will let me laugh with out being afraid that I'm going to cause the sun to shine so bright that it will hurt people, or let out frustration without a hail storm...well I would very much appreciate it." Soon her hands went down in front of her as she looked to be twiddling her thumbs, literally. Her face was still hung low looking at the ground.
