Calling all members! We need your nominations for the Of The Month awards! Have you seen an awesome character lurking the forums? How about a thread you just can’t stop reading? Or a journal you keep coming back to? Nominate it here! We’re looking for nominations for all categories:

Character of the Month – Straightforward. Nominate your favorite character from Hammel. As of now, Jacob Dalton, Neon's characters, Lynx's characters, and Sandrine's characters are all off limits, as they’ve won in the past four months.

Member of the Month – Again, pretty easy, right? Toss up the name of your favorite member. Remember, Jam, Nu, Neon, and Kayla are off-limits for nominations

Relationship of the Month – Anything goes here! Friends, romance, enemies, anything! The exceptions to the rules are:
Clarisse and Jacob – Budding Romance
Alex and Ann- Romantic
Mia and Ginny - Friendship
Midori, Eli, Darryl, and Tory- Family

Thread of the Month – Any and all threads that were started after the last round of OTMs are eligible!

Journal of the Month – We will not be nominating for Journal OTM. All eligible journals will be included in the poll in four days.

Nomination: Apple Pie!
Reasons: Just because. XD. Robbie being his usual adorable, dense little baby and JD as the grouchy, stern and uptight teddy bear boy scout is just the perfect combination for me. I still lolgasm so much every time I read the said thread. Nuala and Penny are geniuses. :3.

Reasons: Penny is awesomesauce. 3 of her 4 characters are answered ads and yet they are not too dependent on the characters that asked for them. And let us not talk about how awesome her writing is, especially when she does ficlets on Leila and Mama Elaine. Though I am still angry at her for tainting my favorite OST of all time =D.

Nomination:Yulia Sokolov
Reasons:Her story arc has really pushed along this month, from her depression at the anniversary of Evgeny's presumed death to her blossoming friendship with Leila to her attempts at redemption by joining the attack on M.S.A.D. Her entire plot is just really well thought out and interesting and a lot has been done with it lately.

Reasons: Their mix of affection and defensiveness and their inability to parse this and admit their interest in one another makes their relationship fun to track. Besides, I just enjoy their bickering.

Reasons: Seconding Jam's nomination, Penny is an awesome, hilarious player who has a troop of active, awesome characters. There are a number of reasons, but I will just second Jam and Dry.

Reasons: D: Every time Paulo opens his mouth I am utterly terrified. And that is the whole point. He's a super interesting character and he's totally chilling. He scares me, and I totally love it.

Reasons: These guys are hilarious. Zac is his usual pompous self, and JD is the long suffering cranky one and they play off each other beautifully

Reasons: I am super charmed by this thread for a number of reasons. Josh talks about being pretty in dresses and Sean makes plans to go clubbing. What is not to love about this? XD

Reasons: This thread blows my mind every time I read it. Not only was everyone able to come together to have this awesome showdown, but I am truly terrified for all the characters.

Reasons: She managed to put MSAD back together with Reese and Lala after the battle with Gabe and Chase, and she's been running around keeping the rest of her characters together--including bringing back Fifi--while still piled with all her homework.

Nomination: Joshua Bernstein
Reasons: I'm biased, and I admit it. But everything Josh does amuses me. He means well and...well, this world wasn't really made for him. He's a good man and he manages to make everything more interesting. And now he thinks that Sean went off to kill himself and this has resulted in him having to drag in half the middle aged gay men's club to calm him down. But aside from that little breakdown, he has excellent coping skills, ones which make me envious.

Reasons: Have I mentioned how happy I am that she returned to us?

Nomination: Fifi Hart and Moe Hazukashi - New friends
Reasons: Fifi has tuned it around, which fills me with joy as I like redemption. Moe is on the rebound after a relationship that perplexed me in the first place. They both need a friend and they have a lot in common. I want to see how this develops.

Nomination: Motherly Pride
Reasons: In my second month of nominating threads that have to do with babies and motherhood, I nominate this. Why? It's adorable. More than that, it's such a nice contrast to the super violent and depressing thread we have open for the plot, and the depressing aftermath. Instead we have a new mother speaking with an experience mother and it makes me so happy. From death comes life, and this is a reminder.
