It had been a while since Miranda saw Shiloh, possibly one of the few friends she had from Hammel, and in general really. Shiloh was a bit rough around the edges, but once you could get past her snooty exterior, you could see the inner nerd. Besides, the girl with the blue eyes had a soft spot for those that were pretty, well dressed, had manners, and took care of themselves. Miranda had all of these things. Plus, she was a great listener, mostly due to the excessive amounts Shiloh would talk. Still, she smiled a lot around the girl and was ready to admit she missed her.
There was a small coffee shop in the University and the two had decided to meet there. Miranda thanked the cashier for her bottle of green tea and made to sit on one of the plush couches, shaking the drink before opening it. Doing so reminded her of the time her and Shiloh had gone drinking together. No one would ever guess, but Miranda was quite the riot once she had a few drinks in her, and was actually pretty fun. It wasn't something she did often, and since she would be working in a club come the new year, she wasn't really in the business of making a fool of herself in public anymore. Maybe at home later.
Shiloh had been texting her off an on, going on and on about her own life and all that she wanted to catch up on. Miranda knew by catch up she meant she wanted to rant and rave about her life in general, and the brunette was more than ready to hear all she had to say.
Soon the girl with the stunning blue eyes and raven hair could be seen, and Miranda raised a hand subtly to signify her presence. She had always been a little bit jealous of the other girl, who actually had hips and a curvy figure. Mira was already a bean pole, Shiloh just made it look all the worse when they were together. Still, she tucked away the little green monster of envy and put her bag on the ground, making room for her extravagant friend.
