It was their one month anniversary and everything had to be perfect. The setting, the mood, everything. This was one of those moments in life where anyone would be a perfectionist unless they really didn't care at all. Ash did care though. He was practically going insane trying to make everything go just right. Tae was the world and more to him. She deserved the best.
He had just picked her up from her house and dropped Max off with Kuma so the puppy wouldn't be alone. Ash had grown close to the pup and Max had grown close to Kuma. It was in large part to them being around each other so much, especially since Ash and Tae had started dating. After the volunteer work he had done at the shelter, Ash had spent nearly every day with her. His stuttering hadn't disappeared, but his nerves had cooled off. He was getting more confident and things were better than they had been in a while.
Ash was sort of dressed up. His hair was growing out to how he had it when he was a little younger. Tae had told him she liked his hair longer, so of course he wasn't going to be cutting it any time soon. He had told Taeyeon to dress up as well, but to bring a change of clothes with her. It would be a messy date after the cute, romantic stuff was over.
This wasn't just a date though, this was the time she'd meet his parents. His incredibly embarrassing parents. He was nervous to say the least, but he wasn't worried. They already loved her and they hadn't even met her. They would have, but Ash never brought Tae to his house because, well his parents were the type to bring out baby pictures.
Ash pulled his car up to the family bakery and squeezed his girlfriend's hand lightly with a small smile, "We're here. You ready?" He asked as he looked over at her.
