Date: Late December, Sometime Before Christmas
Today was supposed to be a typical day at the gym, but Logan had something special planned involving his new found love, Rayne. The Cajun walked into his usual work out place where his crazy female personal trainer is employed. He approached the front desk and smiled. The desk worker recognized him and smiled back. She called over her manager who motioned for Logan to follow him to the back of the gym. Logan was led back to a small room with blue, padded floors and an entire wall covered with a large mirror. The room is typically where yoga and strange aerobics classes are held while weird music plays. The room was filled with a few miscellaneous pieces of equipment, including a large punching hanging from the ceiling.
"Here it is, Mr. Castille. It's all yours for an hour and a half, meaning you have til six thirty. Make sure you're out by then because we have to set up for a hip-hop exercise class in here that starts at seven."
"Thank you, sir," Logan said as he shook the manager's hand and walked off to the men's locker room. He changed into a pair of black athletic shorts and a black Underarmour brand shirt, but the shirt was quickly removed when he went back to his private room. Logan had been a member of the gym for nearly all the years he's been at Hammel. Due to his loyalty, and mainly his willingness to spend money, the manager was more than happy to hook him up with some membership benefits.
Pulling out his iPhone from his bag, he quickly began texting Rayne. First, he sent him the GPS coordinates of his location and then began typing up a message.
"You should totally meet me at the gym. Just tell the person at the front desk that you're with me and they'll show you where I am."
After clicking send, Logan stretched thoroughly and began working out on equipment that didn't require a spotter while he waited for Rayne to arrive. As the minutes passed, he began to work up a sweat. He checked his time while taking a water break. Around an hour and ten minutes remained.
Expecting Rayne to arrive at any minute, Logan put on his kickboxing gloves, ankle weights, and ankle supports with a pair of shin guards for good measure. He walked up to the punching bag and began pounding on it as hard as he could while making sure his technique was clean. His punches and kicks alternated randomly but remained powerful throughout. His focus looked as if it couldn't be broken until he noticed that someone special had finally arrived.
