Reece was getting better with the whole walking thing now. His foot wasn't hurting as much but the doctor had mentioned he best stay off it. His dance partner was acting extremely strange and not hovering round the club as much and this time there was no excuses she could use even. Things had quieted down and Reece felt ... well... aimless, goaless. He had the dog which he still didn't have a name for.
He kept calling the beautiful grey hound dog, which was really not appropriate. He was just having trouble trying to find a name that suited the elegant creature. It walked beside him, not in front of him, but beside him, head held high like a horse would do when it was running round the ring. Surprisingly well mannered, Reece found it impressive how the dog behaved.
Yes.. the dog was tugging at his heart strings and making him fall in love with it. It was an adorable creature and great company when he was alone which was more often then he liked. There was a more pressing matter though. He needed to find someone to help as back up for some of the overload of girls he was getting.
Ty wasn't really showing up at all. It seemed two lessons and Ty was done. He hadn't seen Ty around much. He wondered if he should just go to Hammel and offer the sixteen year old free lessons of something. He hated it when he had all girls and they had to end up dancing with one another in his classes. That's what made him a good teacher and I love Salsa a good place to learn.
He'd made so many love matches over the few years the club had been running and he wanted to make more. Maybe he could even get Thyme in a love match IF he ever found Thyme and then there he was.
Walking across the street with... another boy. Reece stopped in his tracks and like clockwork 'dog' sat down beside him, eyes flicking up to his new master. Reece continued to stare but it wasn't at Thyme. It was at the other boy. Then they turned to head toward him, probably back to Hammel or maybe to the coffee shop he'd passed earlier but Reece was still just standing there... blocking the way... with the dog seated beside him.
A butterfly emerged from his shoulder and fluttered into the air. Another crawled from his palm. Three more worked their way from between his hair, from his clothes more came. They floated in the air, dancing like little ballerinas and when one landed on the tip of his nose, he finally became aware of what was going on and he shook his head making it lifte into the air again.
Reece swore into his breath at all the butterflies fluttering about praying he'd never told Thyme the story of the butterflies. He dropped his brilliant blue eyes and pretended to pet his dog as the two drew closer to him. God, what a really stupid move if he hadn't been snapped out of it by his own illusions. They hovered still dancing happily around him. His eyes flicked to the two boys bringing his acting experience into focus.
"Thyme. Oh Hi there..."
Reece straightened up and flicked his eyes to the boy beside Thyme again, then back to Thyme but his eyes didn't stay there. They kept hovering to the emerald eyed boy.
"Hi... I'm Reece."
Reece held out his hand to the other blonde and a few butterflies landed on his hand. God... annoying butterflies. What was he anticipating? What was so exciting? Meeting Thyme's boyfriend? Really?
Reece frowned and at the boy then glanced back to Thyme.
"I haven't seen you around Thyme. I was worried?"
His eyes returned to the boy..... again.
