Even though Ollie was looking and acting much like her normal self, it had become apparent after the first time she had been hospitalized thanks to not consuming enough food, that she would start to need regular check ups to make sure her nutrition and body was doing well.
Although the real reason Ollie wasn't looking worse for the wear, was because her daddy promised that she wouldn't have to be getting a shot at all this time around. Otherwise she would have been cowering like a male dog making the only vet trip he would have ever cared about.
Instead she was practically dancing in her chair, as she sat and waited as patiently as Ollie could manage for her new doctor to be ready for her. She always liked meeting new people, even if this person would probably be the next one to attempt to stick her with a needle. Of course Ollie wasn't trying to think about that, since all she could think of was: they would jab her with that HUGE needle, and then she would explode with energy everywhere and hurt people! And that would not be good!
But for now she was okay, and no one was going to be hurt. After all it was only that one time she had actually shot energy from herself, most of the time she makes stuff out of energy by accident which isn't as bad most of the time.
The wait was certainly getting to Ollie, even if her father, next to her, wasn't feeling the same way. Then again, her daddy had to deal with Ollie, so he must have had the patience of a... very very patient man.
Finally Ollie got up from her chair, with a little pounce, and walked around the patient room they were left in. Ollie had wished they just stayed in the waiting room, at least there, there was toys to play with. All she could find as she let her hands see around the room, was popsicle stick things and cotton balls. Which of course she reached up and stuck her hand in the cotton balls to pull some out with a smile beaming on her face.
