Wild nights and even wilder parties were what university was all about right? It didn't help that she was with a group of friends who thought a pop quiz involved asking questions with the consequences of a wrong answer being a shot of tequila or vodka. Cassie stumbled up the walkway of her and Lani's home trying to work out which of the blurry keys in her hand would open their font door. Cassidy stumbled up the stairs to their appartment and giggled when she nearly face planted before putting a finger to her lips.
"Shhhh we have to be really quiet..."
Cassie told herself barely making it to the front door without falling. The first key didn't work so she tried the next. That failed too and then the next. Cassidy sighed and lay her forehead against the door. Her keys fell from her hand and she slumped down to the floor knocking softly.
There was a chance that Lani would still be up right?
"Lani...."
Cassidy whispered then for some random reason she was giggling, her back against the door. The world in front of her was spinning and she felt immensely happy. She loved being drunk for just this reason and it was just the right kind of drunk as well. She didn't feel the need to throw up which was part of why she liked having not gone overboard with her drinking. She knew what she could and couldn't take.
Cassidy knocked again harder this time and spread her knee high booted legs in front of her, the mini skirt she was wearing hitching up higher then it was supposed to. Oh God she was in so much trouble.
"Lani...."
Cassidy pouted.
"Help me..."
She sighed and lifted her eyes to the front door bell. The neighbours would be so pissed off if she rang the front doorbell and woke the whole floor up. It must have been past 3 am in the morning.
A decent time considering she normally made it to 6 am.
