Odion had heard Rhett leave. He stretched from his spot on Rhett’s bed, scratching his head. This afternoon, they’d be leaving for France. Things had settled overnight, everything in Odi’s mind was clear now, including the pain and betrayal he felt. Odi didn’t know where Rhett had gone, but that was fine. He needed to go back to his dorm room and pack a few things. Yeah, he knew Rhett said they could get everything he needed once they left, but some things Odion knew were irreplaceable. And he had his own loose ends that needed tying as well.
Upon arriving at Hammel, Odion had immense luck in avoiding Rhett. Not that he was looking for the blonde. Their connection was starting to fade somewhat, and Odi had to wonder if it was all in his head. Oh well, at least he hadn’t shared that little tidbit with anyone else. Odion wound through Hammel towards his dorm room, took the suitcase out from under his bed, and started to pack. A few books, a bit of clothing. The broken pocket watch was on the top compartment of the case, and Odion gulped. He wasn’t sure if this was a good idea or not, but he wasn’t thinking clearly. He was making rash decisions and couldn’t care less how they turned out. The kittens at least, would be watched over by a good friend, the only person he could trust now. Avi was an angel.
LJ was sitting on the bed next to the suitcase, mewing in protest, as though he knew what Odion was planning. Odi was hard pressed to ignore the growing kitten, stuffing a few more essentials into his case, when he heard someone walk in. Something tingled around him and he immediately thought it was Rhett, but his small smile was quickly wiped off his face bruised face.
“I don’t want to talk to you,” he said, not going to leave, but making sure that Lani would. Never mind Lani's freshly bleeding nose. Odion didn't want to know what happened.
