Keys were so weird. Noah was stumbling through his in one hand while he was barging through the hallway. Where did Ravyn go? Did she get home? Noah tried his best to walk on his own two feet but one single stumble sent him crashing into the wall. He slid down the wall, laughing all the while. He craned his head back so far that he knocked it on the wood of a door.

Looking up, he noticed that he had in fact landed in front of his own door. He pushed off the ground with his legs, sliding back up the door and leaning slightly as he tried to get his key into the lock. He was there for a while, trying to figure out which key was the right one. When it finally worked-

"Yeeaah!!" He shouted, louder than anyone should in a dorm considering how late at night/early in the morning it was. The door popped open; but he was leaning on it! Noah opened the door and crashed down onto the floor. And what was his response to his own fall? Well, he couldn't stop himself from laughing loudly.

He then proceeded to raise a hand to his mouth; "Ssshhh. I'll wake up my roommates." He whispered, before closing his eyes. He might just sleep there, thanks.

If felt like Josh had just laid down. It wasn’t that long ago that the boy made his middle of the night trip to the bathroom which he hated dearly but usually after that routine trip, the next time the teenager awoke from his slumber, the sun was nice and bright in the sky. This time though, Josh was not awakened by the annoying beeping of his alarm clock, the source of the noise that had awoken him could not be silenced for nine minutes by slapping a button.

The bang on the door, that Josh wasn't even sure he heard, is what jerked the young boy awake. He sat up in his bed, looking drowsy and dazed. His eyes were barely open and his unruly hair was sticking up every which way. Josh surveyed his room as best he could without leaving his bed, he was looking for his blanket which had ended up on the floor. He spotted it and grabbed it , completely ready to throw it back over himself and sleep the rest of the night away but then he thought he heard the dorm door open. Josh hesitated before laying his head back down to make sure he didn’t imagine the noise. When a loud “Yeeah!” followed the sound of the door opening Josh became much more awake and much more alert. “Noah!?” He recognized the other boy’s voice, even if it did sound a little slurred.

Once Josh heard the commotion of Noah’s fall, that was his queue to go and investigate. Josh appeared in the common area of his dorm out of thin air. He wore his usually pajamas, a pair of brightly colored boxers and a plain black wife beater. However the way Josh looked was nowhere near as interesting as the sight he was gazing down upon. Josh’s roommate, and very close friend, was laid out on the floor of their dorm whispering to himself about not wanting to wake up Josh. It was a little to late for that Noah.

Josh kneeled down to get a better look at his friend. Joshua was almost knocked back when he got close enough to Noah to not see him better, but smell him better. He reeked of hard liquor, and more than just one kind. Josh hadn’t exactly drank before but he knew what a drunk person smelled and looked like, and Noah definitely fit the profile at the time. Josh held back laughter as best as he could and ended up snickering as he poked his friend in the head, in an attempt to make sure he was conscious. “Noah, Noah! I’m already awake.” He whispered. “Are you okay? You’re kinda laid out on the floor.”

Noah seriously didn't notice the presence of another person around him. His eyes were closed and his only chance of noticing would have been sight. So when he was poked he twitched suddenly, eyes slowly opening in a groggy manner; first one, then the other. And when he saw the face looking back at him, he drew a lazy smile onto his face. It was Josh!

"Hey, it's Josh!" His words echoed his thoughts entirely. Noah threw both arms in his direction to indicate towards him, almost like he wouldn't know who 'Josh' was. "Josh hosh posh. Go to bed, Josh." Noah tapped the floor a few times. "Thisismybednow. Thankyouuu~"

Saying that Noah was drunk was might have been understatement, a much better word for Noah’s current state might have been ‘wasted’, definitely wasted. At least Noah was able to use basic motor skills and recognize familiar faces, so he wasn’t to far gone, just far enough to make up nonsense words that rhymed with Josh’s name and declare the floor his bed. Josh continued to snicker, unable to help it, his friend was just to funny at the moment, but nonetheless, Josh couldn’t let him sleep on the floor all night.

“We can both go to bed, come on.” Josh attempted to slip his arm under his very inebriated friend and at least get him sitting up right and hopefully from there get him to stand. Of course once Josh did get his buddy to his room, he didn’t exactly plan on letting him get to sleep to quickly. Joshua had many questions about Noah’s night and would not lose his chance to hear drunk Noah’s answers, he had a strong feeling that they would be hysterical.

Noah had been busy curling up on the floor, but silly Josh wouldn't let him! He let the guy slide his arm underneath him to help him sit up, but right at that point Noah sprang up like a trap into a sitting position. He furrowed his brows, raised a hand and pointed towards Josh. His finger was probably very close to his face; "Did you want to cuddle?" Cause that's what it sounded like. Speaking of company... "Where's Ravyn?"

He stood up with help from Josh, swinging a hand out to finally close their dorm room door. But once on his feet he rolled his shoulders to get out of Josh's grasp. "I can walk, y'know." He said, stepping away from the guy. Of course, stepping away that quickly made him stumble right into the front of the couch, which he promptly toppled over the back of and hit the ground again.

"OWW!! Joshwhat are you doing!?" He called out, clinging to his head.

Josh had initially planned on easing his friend off of the ground in his drunken state at a much slower place than Noah had chosen to go. Noah had popped up so far it startled the teleporter. Prompting his to pop back a couple feet. Josh laughed as he teleported back to Noah’s side, the young teleporter thought drunk people was so amusing, to him everything they did was funny even when they were scaring the crap out of him.

Josh was baffled when Noah thought Josh wanted to cuddle. His eyes widened momentarily and he looked at Noah with a shocked and confused expression on his face. He began laughing again. “No man, I don’t want to cuddle.” Noah’s assumption wasn’t to ludicrous, after thinking about what he had said moments ago, Josh did agree that it did sound like a cuddling request. Before Josh could clear things up any further, Noah had already moved on to another subject. Drunk people weren't the best at staying focused on one thing at a time.

Ravyn, Josh knew who that was, she was Noah’s friend, the girl with wings. He wondered if she had been with him earlier that night, it would make sense. “Um, she’s in her room, she’s sleeping.” Josh had no clue if that was true or not, but he was more than confident that she was ok. Josh wasn't one to worry to much, he was pretty optimistic and rarely thought of bad things happening to people. “Were you with her tonight? Where did you guys get drunk at?” He asked as he continued to help Noah off of the ground.

Believing he could manage to walk on his own, Noah was immediately proven wrong the moment he stepped out of Josh’s grasp. Josh winced as he watched his friend hit the floor. He held back laughter and popped over to Noah kneeling down to him, again, on the balls of his feet. “What am I doing?” Josh laughed chuckled. “Noah you're crazy, just let me help you. It might have been smart if Josh would have turned on a light or too, it would probably help Noah get around a lot better in his current state, but instead Joshua was about to attempt to maneuver drunken Noah through an almost pitch black dorm. Josh started to pull Noah up again to get him on his feet. “This time, stay holding on to me you psycho.”

"She ditched me?" Noah asked, furrowing his eyebrow at the thought. Oh well, she was probably busy or something. "Y'know she has a boyfriend? But her boyfriend wasn't there. So I was her boyfriend!" He explained, and then laughed about it. Obviously he didn't understand the seriousness of what had happened, or what he had ended up being a part of. "This college party some friend of hers knew about. Or was it a friend of mine?" He couldn't remember anymore.

"Joshua Evan Ortega! Wait, that's my middle name." He pointed over towards him; was he stealing his middle name? Uncool. "Fine, let's go." He whined, throwing his arm around his friend's neck in order to be directed to his room. But his heavy drunken footsteps were doing the leading, and instead he was belining right for Josh's room. "C'mon Josh. Let me put you to bed!"
