Boston - December 28th, 2012
Christmas was behind them and Odion was relieved. He had gotten the gift giving over with and now he could concentrate on other things, like drinking and relaxing. He was even more surprised when Avi sent him a text about doing something before the end of the world happened. They still spoke every now and again, but she always seemed so busy. But no matter what happened between them, Odion would always love Avi and consider her one of his truest friends. There weren't a lot of people he had met that he could trust like he trusted her.
"Are you sure your family won't mind us crashing for the night?" Odion asked, his arm laced through hers as they paraded towards a popular nightclub in the Boston area. The redhead looked around and tried to remember as many details as possible. Lani was from here after all, and Odion wasn't planning on wasting valuable information. There might be a fun place to come back to with the bloke after tonight.
After finding warmth in the shelter of the building, Odi smiled to himself as loud music filled his ears. "I think I've had a bad influence on you," he said to his wonderful friend, his eyes looking her up and down. She was completely beautiful, inside and out. She seemed a little too eager to go drinking with him, but he wouldn't want her going out with anyone else. His stamina was far greater than hers and he knew they were going to have a good time.
"So," he said, stirring his first drink around, "are we playing that dancing bet game again?"
God he'd missed her.
