Christmas break, always a fun time to go home and visit family. The day after Ellie's birthday, Jack packed up his things and was ready to leave. Sure, it was kind of hard to not be happy when he knew that his entire family was going to be together for Christmas, but he was still kind of sad that he had to leave Elisia so soon. He had kissed her the day before they left, and spent most of the day wit her. Even at the end of the day.. and the eventful afternoon with that Chris guy, Jack had gotten her phone number. It was nice to keep in contact with her, but even though she was in the same city as him, he wasn't sure if they would even get to see each other. Now that he was in Hammel, he barley got any time alone when he visited his parents, because they wanted everything to do with him when he was home. It was nice though.
Today was just like any day, except for this morning his mom asked him to go down to the store closest to where they live and pick up some things for breakfast tomorrow. Kind of happy to be out of the house and away from the cling, Jack set off to get the things that he needed to get from the store. It would be easier to cut through Central... He thought, taking a hesitant turn off toward the park. He liked the trees anyway, it reminded him of having a more open space around him instead of the usual concrete walls, sidewalks, and roads. The ground of the park was covered in a light frosty snow, and he felt like he was back at Hammel, then he thought about Elisia. "How crazy would it be if we bumped into each other on the flight back?" He asked himself with a small smile on his face.
