Theatre club

[Christian Lucas]

Well, since technically Christian is the adviser for Theatre club (Well, they spell it theater but I'm using the proper spelling!) I figured I'd gather the club members. One of the things that the club is supposed to do is put on a few productions each year. I'm imagining one or two small skits, a full length straight play, and a full length musical. So I figure it is time for a musical!

Given that in real life I'm working on a theatre degree and hope to one day be an actor professionally, I hope I can guide this. But I need actors for certain, and this can be great fun!

Oh, that is actually one I'm familiar with. That and it is being put on at the community theatre out here as well. (They have an actual Brit coming as director!) Consider it on the list. That being said, I need people who will participate in it too.

If you were to move out of musicals I would add in Much Ado About Nothing, since that is one of my favorites of Shakespeare.

Unfortunately, all of these would involve dealing with MTI, and they are Nazis.

For non-musicals, might I humbly propose The Trojan Women by Charles L. Mee? Or, if you'd prefer something dark and comedic, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead? You could double cast the titular characters!
