Likes: Anything creative, adventure, playing the drums, baking, rock music, physical activity, crime and medical dramas, medieval fantasy, photography, music-based computer games
Dislikes: Bullies, being alone, being bored, enclosed spaces, laziness, silence, household chores
Devon is very outgoing and sociable and will talk to anyone about anything, which does give him some advantage when it comes to befriending people. He has a particular soft spot for those who are having difficulty with their time at school, something he can completely relate to, and will always go out of his way to help them.
As a general rule Devon doesn't have many enemies, but those who undermine or bully others will instantly find themselves on his black list. People who prefer sedate, peaceful ways of life could find his boldness and cheeky nature off-putting or annoying and he could make enemies that way.
Devon... bless him. He is utterly terrified of the thought of dying alone, but he gets bored so quickly, leading to unhappiness, that he hates the thought of getting into a relationship in case he ends up ending it and hurting the other person. When he has that itch to scratch he tends to fall into one-night-stands, which don't make him happy but at least that way no one gets hurt. He could eventually find a stable relationship he can be happy in, but it would take a really exceptional person. He has only ever been with women before but he does have some sexual attraction towards certain males, it just isn't something he's properly explored (yet?).
Likes: Reading, libraries, his gerbils, snow, storms, board games, animals (particularly rodents)
Dislikes: Violence, meta-humans, mess, technology, hot weather, junk food, loud music, arrogance
Seb has impeccable manners and is incredibly polite, making him very agreeable, and those who lean towards quiet and reserved individuals could make firm friends with him.
Whilst Seb is hardly the sort to actively seek enemies, his metaphobic upbringing does occasionally rear its head and that has the potential to massively piss off those who are proud of their abilities. He is very easily manipulated and is a push-over but is also very intelligent and will verbally hold his own if he thinks he is being taken advantage of. Only verbally, though, as his pacifism gets in the way of him actually defending himself.
Sebastian loves the romantic aspect of love. Cuddles, holding hands and all other aspects of love truly fascinate him, and he has a huge place in his heart for elegant, intelligent ladies and dashing, heroic gentlemen. However, he has absolutely no interest in the physical aspect of love and possesses all the sex drive of a turnip, which could prove rather difficult.

Likes: Anything sporty, dogs, fantasy books/ TV shows/ games, Dungeons & Dragons, storytelling, working, painting miniatures, extreme sports, outdoor survival.
Dislikes: Being called 'English', bigots, vegans, people with no imagination, people unwilling to try new things, laziness.
Cecil is generally very open and friendly and will talk to pretty much anyone, especially if they have something in common with him. He makes and keeps friends easily, and since he has been in Pilot Ridge since early 2012 it is likely he has already got a few acquaintances. Cecil is a great boss to work for, firm with high standards but very quick to reward when they are met, and he is incredibly protective of both his staff and those he classes as friends. Anyone with a love of extreme sports, dogs, D&D or anything outdoorsy could make firm friends with this proud Welshman.
Cecil tends to not have much in the way of enemies, but anyone who tries to take advantage of him, his bar or any of his friends would quickly find themselves wishing they hadn't.
A year and half out of a divorce that ended horrifically, he is quickly realising that being single doesn't really suit him and he misses the close companionship he shared with his ex husband.

Likes: Aquarium fish, Terry Pratchett novels, romance, unusual food, poetry, making people happy, macabre stories.

Chivalric and contemplative, Kieron is a polite and socially graceful individual who will go out of his way to help others and his honesty and respectful nature often allows him to make friends easily. He attended Hammel and likely has a few friends from his time there, those who remember him as the ridiculously well mannered but not overly bright one with his nose always in a book.
Kieron's most likely enemies would be those who are rude, arrogant or overtly conservative. Whilst he is far too polite to outwardly engage those sorts, if push came to shove he would tell them in no short terms exactly why they were a disgusting human being.
With his deep love of the romantic, Kieron is the sort to drown his date in flowers, chocolates and not-brilliant-but-bless-he-tried poetry. He will wine, dine and cherish the woman he is with... and they might just need that incentive if they go to meet his parents.
Likes: Horses and most other animals, being outdoors, fine food and coffee, sewing, dancing, writing, classic cars, helping people achieve things with their lives
Dislikes: Her son living on the other side of the country, impatient people, spineless women, cooking in any form, PETA
A fiery hedonist with a deep love for the finer things in life, Lahja is a half-Finnish woman who knows what she wants and wont hesitate to manipulate her way to getting it. Whilst she will go out of her way to help those that need it she is somewhat vain and once she is riled it takes an awful lot of effort for her to calm down again. Her horses and business are her life, and God help you if you upset either of them.
She has lived in Pilot Ridge for many years and likely knows quite a few of the residents, either through her business or just from having met them around town. Both her and her son attended Hammel and still works closely with it, so a few of the staff members and students are likely to know her one way or another.
Lahja has been divorced for several years and is quite comfortable being single although she is still pining for her son who moved to LA after his graduation to go and be with his father. She does prefer relationships but she is definitely not above one-night-stands if the person catches her eye. A lady has needs after all.
I have some potential plot ideas.
