''I promise.'', he replied with a tender voice. If it was the last thing he was going to do, he'd keep that promise. Or at least do the best he could to. Kadi calling him Nicky didn't bother him, maybe it would have if anyone else had used it, but as long as it was Kadi, and just Kadi, she could call him whatever she wanted.
Yeah, breathing seemed to be the only thing stopping them for standing like this forever, and as she pulled back he let a soft chuckle escape his lips. Luckily, with his power he could withstand breathing for longer, but he didn't exactly want to kill her with their first kiss. As she pressed her forehead against his, he pulled her in for a hug, keeping her as tight to him as he could, completely at the loss of words. What could one even say about such an amazing experience? What was the right thing to say, or do?
He couldn't keep the bubbling laugh inside as she spoke and his hands both dropped to her waist. He pulled her up with him as he stood up and planted a kiss on her forehead. Their clothes were still wet, and if they didn't dry up soon they would end up getting a cold, or something. ''We should probably get a new change of clothes.'' Now he took the time to glance down at her wet t-shirt and grinned. ''Nice.'', he said playfully as her shirt was still see-through. He put his arm over her shoulder and squinted with his eyes at the sharp sun. ''But hey, I don't really mind you walking around like that, so by all means...'' Of course he didn't mind. The girl that had just rocked his world was to his gratitude wearing a wet, white t-shirt where he could easily see what was hiding underneath.
