He had to laugh as she didn't even look at him when he came back outside. ''Oi!'', he shouted as she threw the clothes and missed completely. ''Guess I need to teach you how to aim, but y'know, it would be a lot easier if you actually looked before throwing something.'' He was teasing her, that much was obvious. He put the clothes under his arm and walked over to the bed and sat down next to her. He leaned forward and kissed her lips while cupping her face in his hands. A drop of water fell from his hair and landed on her cheek.

After the kiss he leaned back up and looked at the clothes she had picked up with a chuckle. She seemed to have picked out the least tight clothes she could find, and he actually took that as a compliment. At least his body worked the way he had hoped. Walking back towards the bathroom with the clothes in his hand he sent her another smirk. ''Damn, that movie must be interesting to keep your attention away from all this.'' He nodded downwards with a chuckle and shook his head before closing the bathroom door after him as he entered.

He put on the clean boxers he had picked out earlier and put on the shirt and sweats Kadi had picked out for him. Without bothering to fix his hair he sprayed himself with some perfume before heading back outside, taking a leap towards the bed and landing down next to her. ''Ohai there cutie.'' He put his arm around her waist and rested his head on her tummy, turning his attention over to the TV. ''Hey uh...'', he started, his voice sounding slightly nervous. ''Where do all this... Y'know..'' He blushed and took a deep breath before continuing. ''Leave us?'' He'd never asked a girl what they were before, but then again he hadn't had a girlfriend or anything before either, so that was understandable.

Kadence failed as she tried keeping a straight face. His teasing made her laugh and she rolled her eyes, “It probably would help, but then again, it probably wouldn’t.” Seeing as how she’d probably get distracted by him in just a towel and not be able to throw them at all. He sat beside her on the bed and cupped her face. She closed her eyes as he kissed her and thought of something. Uhm, a puppy? No, that did her no good. A gory movie? Nope. Her breathing started to hitch and she felt the drop of water slide down her cheek. Finally she settled on thinking of a family member because that always worked.

Thankfully that was when he pulled away and his eyes went to what she chose for clothing. Could he really blame her for wanting choosing those things? After all, how would he like it if she came out in something crazy revealing and wasn’t allowed to do anything with that? Then again, she was in only a t-shirt and her undergarments. But hey, that was his problem that he had to worry about, not her. “It’s very enthralling, really.” She smirked and glanced at him when he went to the bathroom to change. She sighed, that had been pretty difficult.

The next time he emerged, he was clothed and she was actually able to look at him now. She giggled when he flopped down on the bed next to her. His arm wrapped around her waist and as his head rested on her stomach she played with his hair. It was still sort of wet, but it didn’t bother her. Kadi stroked his hair gently, her eyes on him and occasionally the television. It was comfortable, just lying there with him. Even if her hormones had been raging, she still felt content not doing anything. He started to speak and she chewed on the inside of her cheek as he finished saying what he was thinking. Honestly she had been thinking the same thing, but when a girl asked, typically it got her in trouble and the guy bolted. Kadence smiled slightly and brushed her fingers against his cheek. “That depends on what you want us to be, Nicky.” She didn’t want to be the one to ruin things by asking for too much from him.

Kadi should be glad he had this much control of himself, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to pull away when he did, and honestly, once he had he just wanted to kiss her again. If it was up for him to decide and he could defy gravity, their lips would never have parted. But he knew he wouldn't have been able to keep his hands to himself.

Yeah, seeing her in his shirt and nothing else drove him insane. It would be so easy for him to just sneak his hands up where they shouldn't and have some fun. She was looking extremely sexy and the color really complimented her eyes, which was good. At least they took away some focus off of her body, seeing as how pretty they were. He gaced towards the screen and nodded in agreement. ''Yeah, it's a good movie.'' He hoped she didn't think too much of it, because he didn't like admitting to liking those typical chick flicks. He felt as if it took away some of his manly, attractive traits.

''Mmmm...'', he uttered as she started playing with his hair. It felt so good, and he could feel the goosebumps on his arms. This was the best part of it all, in his opinion. He'd choose this over sex any day as long as it was with her. He figured as much, that he should be the one to ask. He wanted to do it right and not mess it up by being a coward, but it was still hard for him. He turned around and looked at her, his cheeks still red and flustered. A faint smile was showing on his lips as he opened his mouth to speak. ''Isn't that pretty obvious?'', he chuckled nervously and covered his face with the palm of his hand. He didn't like being in this spot, but even he knew they had to get it over with sooner and later, and the faster he could claim her as his own the better.

A guy who liked chick flicks was rare, but it didn’t make him any less manly if he liked it for the reasons of it being romantic and knowing that that’s how women should be treated. Honestly it was like a guide of how guys should act towards their girl. Some guys took it into consideration and a lot of guys just blew it off. One would think they would catch onto the fact that girls loved the guys in those movies because 1) they were attractive and 2) they were the perfect boyfriend.

Kadence thought nothing of his comment and just continued playing with his hair. It would have shocked her in a way, knowing that Nick preferred this sort of thing just because she had seen how he was. Granted he treated girls fairly before going through with the initial use, but he still used them. So to know that he actually liked cuddling like this, well it would have been a bit of a surprise. She wasn’t going to let the thought of him not liking it plague her mind because for now he was there and he wasn’t complaining. She just sat contentedly and reveled in the fact that she was with him. And that she had wanted to be like this with him since high school.

He turned around and looked up at her, she shook her head as an answer. “I mean it is, but not exactly. You could want a lot of different things. It could be casual or just a one time thing…I don’t know what you want Nick,” She said quietly. And with her luck it was the one time thing he was looking for. Kadi knew that there was something more there, but her self-confidence was too low for her to believe it.

The reason Nick liked chick flicks was because he had always wanted to be that kind of guy, but he had never seemed to find the right girl to be that guy for. And now, maybe he was lucky enough to be. If Kadi ever wanted to be his, he promised himself he'd try his hardest to be the best boyfriend he could be. He really wanted to.

He wouldn't blame her for being shocked. He knew she wasn't oblivious to the kind of reputation he had with the ladies. He had been incredible immature and if only he had thought he stood a chance with her in high school, maybe things would have been different. But in a way, he was glad they hadn't, because in the end he was glad he was here now and even as long and dark as the journey had been, if this ended up in his favor it'd all be worth it. He snuggled her stomach and wrapped his arms tighter around her waist, making those faint noise showing just how much he was liking this.

Her words was a low hit, though he didn't really blame her for thinking that was all he was after. His past wasn't exactly on his side in this. His smile faded and he looked to the side. He tugged onto her shirt, feeling his courage drop. ''I want you.'', he whispered and sighed. How could he even begin to explain how she made him feel? How different she was from everyone else. ''It's not like that...not with you.'' His face frowned and he bit his lower lip. ''You have no idea what you're doing to me, Kadi.'', he looked up. ''I like you for you. Not your body. Well, I like your body too, but y'know.'' Nick was growing more and more nervous as his fear for screwing it up was hightened. He groaned and sat up, his back facing her. He put his head in his hands and shook his head. ''What I'm trying to say is... I don't want to share you with anyone, nor do I want to be shared with anyone...''

Kadence smiled wider as he cuddled closer to her. She was definitely happy just living in this moment as long as it lasted a while. She didn’t want to let him go and she had no intention of doing it. As long as he was willing to let her stick around, she’d stay at his apartment for quite a while. Or at least for a little longer because she couldn’t just leave Cooper at her apartment without food or anyone to take him out. Then again, she could always shoot Van a text and ask him to take care of Coop. The pup seemed to like him, but Kadi missed her puppy.

She hadn’t meant what she said to upset him, it just seemed like that was the case. Honestly how could she know if he changed? She hadn’t seen him in years and some people didn’t change after high school or college. Her eyebrows pulled together as he tried explaining what he wanted. His first response was obvious, but she didn’t take it the way he meant. Hadn’t they been toying with each other because they both wanted each other? Then he continued and she got even more confused. She couldn’t help but worry that he didn’t like what she was doing to him because what guy wanted to change and settle for one girl? It was rare that any of them really did, as far as she knew at least.

He turned away from her as he sat up and she in turn sat up as well, chewing on her lip. Was it possible for him to want her that way? No one had even looked at her that way since she graduated. And they just started talking again. She was afraid of what would come from this. What if he found that she was still too damaged for a relationship? She couldn’t go through that and she didn’t want to. But for him to have the courage to say something like this, it gave her a slight bit of hope. She crawled over to him and wrapped her arms around his waist from behind. “Don’t worry, I have no intention of sharing you with anyone because you’re all mine,” She smiled and let go so that she could kiss his cheek.

Nick didn't really blame her for being confused. He was confusing himself with his endless rambling. He didn't want her to think that he just wanted a one time thing with her, because that was the last thing he wanted. He wanted to be her boyfriend. Her one and only. It was a relief when he felt her arms around his waist and he felt himself relaxing at her touch. He leaned his head back and sighed. A chuckle escaped his lips when she spoke and after she kissed his cheek, he turned around and pressed his face against her neck.

He felt tears well up in his eyes, that's how happy he was. He didn't even know of a word to describe the kind of happiness he was feeling. ''You have no idea how happy it makes me to hear that.'', he admitted and pulled her even closer. He couldn't stop laughing, but it was more of a silent, shaking laugh rather than a loud one.

''You're really one of a kind, did you know that?'', he whispered into her ear and kissed her earlobe.

Kadence smiled and rubbed the back of his neck as he nestled against hers. She was so beyond happy with him that she couldn't believe it was actually happening this way. Kadi expected to him at least want sex before figuring things out. Not that she would necessarily have let it happen, but even she didn't know if she could put it off any longer. After all, she did say she was going to wait until she found a good guy before she did it again. Nick was a great guy and she really did care about him, so it wouldn't have surprised her if she did give into the urge.

She laughed just as breathlessly and nuzzled his cheek, "I'm glad I can make you happy." Honestly it was a great feeling knowing that he was happy because she didn't want to share him. If she knew it would pay off this well, she'd have said that to begin with. Then again, it was probably for the best that she waited for him to say something because she didn't know how well it would have gone otherwise.

Kadi shivered as he kissed her earlobe and bit her lip. She pulled back slightly and cupped his jaw, bringing his lips to hers. Her ability sparked again and it started building off of the mixture of emotions she felt and what could only assume he felt.

At the moment she kissed him he wrapped his arms around her, pressing her closer to him. He didn't want to be needy or anything, but right now he wanted her close. As close as he could get her. In the loss of words he pressed his lips against her with more force than what he had intended. Once their lips parted he lifted her up and placed her in his lap, gently caressing the back of her neck. ''So, does that mean I can call you my girlfriend?''

He pulled the blanket over them as he leaned back in the bed, pulling her close to him. With her back against him, lying there on the side he kissed her shoulder and chuckled. ''I'm going to try my best to remove all doubts you have of my intentions. I promise.'', he whispered into her ear before he nuzzled her cheek. ''I don't deserve someone as amazing and perfect as you. Thank you for giving me a chance.'' He really meant it. He was grateful for the trust she put in him considering his past. He had to be the luckiest guy to walk this earth, and he didn't want to screw anything up. He'd wait for her to be ready, even if it'd take forever.

Kadence didn't mind the way he pulled her so close to him. It didn't come off as needy, it was just sweet and much needed. She giggled when he lifted her up and she cupped his jaw. "You can call me whatever you'd like, but yes girlfriend is definitely an option," She kissed him again and bit her lip as she pulled away. Yup, getting used to that was going to take some time. "And feel free to kiss me as much as you'd like.

She stroked his arm lightly as they laid there and smiled as he spoke. "Don't try too hard because then you might miss something," Like the fact that she could be ready at any time. Especially if he played with her the way he had before the serious talk. Kadi closed her eyes and smiled wider, "You deserve a lot more than you think, Nicky." She cuddled back into him and bit her lower lip with a smirk.

"I'm surprised you've kept all those clothes on this long seeing as how it was just me playing with you," She said nonchalantly.

Her words made him grin from ear to ear and he couldn't help but to let a laughter escape his lips. ''All right, girlfriend, it's a deal.'' He kissed her, not once, not twice but three times in a row. Then he went over to placing small pecks all over her face. He was happy, and it didn't seem like he could say it enough. He was happy. He was happy. He was happy.

''Good thing I have you right here beside me then.'' Ah, yes. She was now all his and just his to claim. It felt nice, thinking of her that way. The little blonde he had found so cute back in high school was now lying here in his arms agreeing to be his girlfriend. Looking back he'd never think he stood a chance. She had seemed so much in love with Mason, and even if he treated her like shit, he never took the big step of hitting on her. She was better than that, and had always been.

He smirked and let out another chuckle. With raised eyebrows he leaned over her and looked into her eyes. ''Is that your way of telling me to get undressed?'', he asked with a devilish grin on his lips. He enjoyed the struggle of power they had going back and forth, though he was still waiting for his chance to win.

Kadence smiled and giggled as he kissed her a bunch. "Nickyyyy," She laughed and scrunched up her nose. She was so happy to be with him now. It was amazing! He was her Nicky, all hers and no one else was allowed to look or touch as far as she was concerned.

How could she have over-looked him back before she was so screwed up? She always thought he was attractive, he'd been very sweet all the time and he was just a great guy in general. So why had she picked Mason? It would never make sense to her and she would always have that regret hanging over her head. If only he had shown some interest, maybe then she would have gone for him instead. But it didn't matter because she had him now and Mason was no longer in her life.

Kadi looked up at him and tried not to smile, but she couldn't help it. "Well I mean, just your shirt. Ya know because just looking at you is making me hot," And bothered. She left that part out though. He'd get the idea. Kadence pulled him down to kiss her and she wrapped her arms around his neck to keep him there.

Nick was finding himself to be the jealous type, and just thinking about Kadi with another guy made him feel like hitting something, so the feelings about the claiming was more than mutal. Hopefully she wouldn't mind it too much and rather take it as a compliment.

''Oh?'', he said and raised his eyebrows. That could easily be fixed. It didn't take him long to pull his shirt over his head and toss it to the side. ''Like this?'', he asked and feigned a innocent look. He wished the shirt she was wearing had buttons, so he could slowly unbutton it, slowly and painfully. It would probably be more painful for him, but whatever. He liked the idea nonetheless. He pressed his upper body against hers again and kissed the corner of her lip. ''Feeling hot enough yet?''

So they were both jealous types. Nothing wrong with that. As long as no one looked, talked to or touched her boyfriend, she'd be fine. Kadence was a tiny thing, but she didn't have any problems with beating a girl's ass for doing any of those things.

She looked up at him as he pulled his shirt off, her eyes traveling along his upper body. She definitely didn't want anyone touching that. Nope, only she was allowed. Her hands traveled down his abdomen and she looked back up at him with a nod. It was a really good thing he couldn't torture her by stripping her because that would definitely lead to her breaking before he did. Nope, if she was going to strip it would be slowly and painfully for him.

His body pressed against hers for what felt like the millionth time and she still felt her breathing hitch every time. He kissed the side of her mouth and she nipped at his lip playfully, "Nope, kinda cooling off now. It's really too bad." She was going to mess with him as much as she could.

The feeling was mutal. No looking, touching or talking allowed. He'd be fine with that, having her all to himself. Though her job could become a problem, since he bet there would be a lot of guys hitting on her. Oh well, that only gave him a good reason to visit her at work, which just meant that he'd get to see her more. It was a win-win situation.

Nick loved the way she looked at him, they way her eyes trailed down his body and the feeling of her fingers against his skin. It was nervewrecking, to say the least. He closed his eyes and his breath grew heavier. She'd have no problem torturing him. She already was.

''Oh really?'' He laughed. He snuck his hand slowly up her shirt and rested it on her stomach, running his fingertip around her belly button. ''Getting any warmer?'' It was starting to hurt. He wanted her so badly.
