Ava smiled climbing out of her mini she had arrived at the lake she wasnt to sure why she came but the thought of swimming sounded pretty nice to her right now and the sun was shining so the water wouldnt be too cold right ? glancing around she pulled out her bag that hd a towel and some change of clothes

Walking over towards the area where she would swim Ava started to tie her hair away from her face undoing her hoodied jumper and slipping it off underneath she wore a simple poker-dot bikini which was black and white there wasnt too many people around after all it was 9am on a sunday but she was restless and couldnt settle the fact she had been awake since 6 am didnt help she had too much energy she missed being able to wake up and go surfing like she did back in Florida thankfully the weather was nice the sun was shining there was a slight breeze but nothing that bothered her too much looking around once again Ava finished undressing till she was just in her bikini.

Leaving her clothes in a pile she headed down to the waters edge dipping her foot in she let out a small squeal before taking a few steps back smiling she ran into the water letting out a small scream the water was cold so cold she ducked down under the water for a few moments before she resurfaced gasping for breath the water wasnt so bad it felt a little better now she was used to it and with that she started to swim around in her own little world she had time to think about Cole since that night at the bar where he had saved her they hadnt really spoken she had gotten into a wolrd of trouble with her father because she was at a bar but in the end she wasnt bothered she was glad she had met Cole

The weather hadn't warmed up much, but it had warmed up enough to convince Cole that it was a good day to swim. And now, with Rayne having left again, Cole needed something to take his mind off of her. "God," he said as he pulled a tank top onto his body, "what the hell did I ever do?" Cole asked regarding his troubles with relationships. "Did I not satisfyingly overcome Lerna and all her bullshit?" Cole sighed and lit a cigarette, "If it's not too much to ask, my friend, no more women for a while, yeah? Ol' heart's not as strong after so much heartache." With those words, Cole walked out of his apartment and hopped into his truck.

Cole rolled down the windows just as he started the engine. The light breeze cooled the hot, sun-baked interior of his Single-Cabbed Chevrolet. He checked his phone and sat in the cup holder before finally backing out of his apartment's parking lot and pulled out onto the road. He pressed his foot to the floor and smiled as he heard the squealing of his tires as the rubber was peeled away.

At last, the truck's wheels caught grip and the truck shot forward, leaving a plume of smoke behind him. The young man kept the gas pedal to the floor before finally letting off as the speedometer topped the posted speed limit. Cole took another drag off of his cigarette and then rested his arm out of the window of his truck. It didn't take long for Cole to finally arrive at the lake. Around 9:30-ish A.M. Cole was parked in the meadow on the North shoreline along one other vehicle. "Who the hell drives a Mini here?" Cole asked himself as he stepped out of his truck.

Walking toward the shore, he spotted someone in the water. It was Ava. Cole recognized her from the night of his homecoming concert at Johnny's club. Chuckling as he tossed his cigarette but into the bed of his truck, Cole looked to the sky, "You're an ass sometimes, ya'know that?" He peeled off his tank top as he walked closer to the water. "I didn't think anyone else had the balls to swim with it just now starting to warm up around here." Cole inhaled sharply as the coldness of the water met his feet. He continued to walk out into the lake until he was about waist deep. Finally, he dove into the cold. shallow depth of the beach. Coming up nearby her he looked over, "Hello, Ava."

Ava smiled relaxing into the water glancing towards the shore she saw a man taking off his shirt she smiled watching till she realised that it was Cole she splashed around slightly trying to regain her compouser sinking down tillt he water was up to her neck Ava closed her eyes and took a few deep breathes she couldnt believe it was Cole and they where both half dressed and in the water

He then started to talk to talk to her she stood up letting the water trickle over her slender frame '' Well im pretty sure when l dressed this morning l didnt see any balls '' she smirked before she burst out laughing as she looked over at him her arms wrapping slowly around her chest trying to cover her poka dot bikini '' So what brings you down here then ? At this time in the morning '' she asked as she started to walk closer to him grinning as she splashed water at him '' Hello Cole '' she whispered her cheeks flushed slightly as she watched him with intrest

Cole chuckled as she splashed at him. "I just wanted to get outta the house." Cole told her. It had been by pure luck that Cole had met Ava at the club that night. Not that the electrokinetic was complaining. It ended up being a decent night even with all the turbulence that ensued. Cole thought back to one thing though, that he didn't expect to happen, a kiss.

Cole had only meant to comfort Ava after what she'd been through that night, but something happened. Ava had turned to face him and claimed his lips without a moment's hesitation. And what followed after that had in fact been one of the hottest, most intense, most intimate make-out sessions in Cole's life. And they both knew that the only reason it stopped there was because of all the people that had been present.

Cole swam over to her and looked at her. "Haven't seen you since the concert...." Cole said. He spoke again but it was merely inaudible mumble.

Ava blushed she hadnt been able to stop thinking out her and Cole and how intimate they had been she gave him her first kiss too she was pretty sure it was to do with the half a can of beer she had drunk but it made the worst evening alive to the best in a matter of moments being in his arms to then tasting his lips and then all too soon it was over as her father had been called to collect her so she could make a statement for the police .

She shivered at the thought of him she then looked at him biting her lip as she swam closer to him '' l did try to get in contact with you last week ... l left my number at the bar '' she whispered looking down at the water '' l really enjoyed what happened ...'' she uttered feeling embarassed she look at him taking a deep breathe she moved closer to him still till her hands rested on his shoulders '' Hi...'' she mumbled her nose almost touching his.

Cole looked at her, "I had no idea..... Been kinda busy since that night." Cole told her, "Johnny has made me head of security again. So now, I'm salaried instead of paid per all my concerts." He told her. Originally, Johnny wasn't going to give the job to Cole, but after speaking with him decided to give the young man what he wanted. The man who'd hired Cole two years ago when he first moved to Pilot Ridge just didn't want him going mad with power.

Cole tensed as she moved forward. Then he relaxed as her arms came around him, "Hey...." He said smoothly as their noses grazed one another. The urge to kiss her was stronger now, "Ava.... If I kiss you again here, now, while we're alone, I might not be able to keep control. I don't know if it'll stop there...." Cole warned her and then waited for her response.

Ava nodded '' its ok l understand your a working man you get busy'' she smiled letting out a soft giggle '' Well l feel much safer now knowing that you are out there keeping everyone safe '' she teased the tip of her tongue ever so lightly brushed against his top lip she wasnt sure what she was doing but being this close to him excited her her heart was pounding so fast in her chest she was sure that he would feel it

Hearing his little warning she let out a soft gasp as she leant forward and started to kiss him first of lightly pressing her lips against his slowly building the kiss as her fingers ran through his hair tugging slightly she wanted to keep him close to her a shiver ran through her body as she closed her eyes a happy sigh coming from her body as she stayed with him not wanting to leave she hadnt had a perfect moment till now and she wasnt going to let it end too soon

Finally she broke the kiss lightly tugging on his bottom lip with her teeth her breathing became shallow pants she then looked up at him wondering what his reaction was to the kiss and the fact that she had kissed him first suddenly she felt even more nervous than she had been in her life.

Cole didn't even try to fight her off. In fact, as their lips met, he embraced it. He wrapped his arms around her body beneath the surface. He pulled her closer to him and groaned as she tugged his hair. A lowly growl escaped his breath as the kiss continued to deepen as they both committed more and more passion to it.

When she finally broke the kiss and pulled back, tugging his lips as she did so, Cole took in a deep breath to calm himself. He smiled to her as she seemed to be looking for his reaction. His eyes cradled hers as he held her gaze. There was a moment were Cole waited for her next move before taking matters into his own hands.

He pulled her back to him, "Gimme some sugar, baby..." He said smoothly before claiming her lips in a deep, lustful, passionate kiss that this time would not break were it given no reason. Cole's tongue wrestled with hers as he grabbed her hips and pulled them up to wrap around his waist. Cole was bordering on the edge of his control, his heart now racing. Today had indeed been a good day for a swim.

Ava leaned her head back as she laughed at his statement '' Gimme some sugar baby...Steady on Bruce Campbell'' She smirked as she kissed him once again her legs moved to wrap tightly around his waist while her fingers tugged at his hair her eyes where closed once more it seemed they where the only two people in the world at that very moment

Feeling his tongue in her mouth was a strange sentation Ava had never been kissed before so she was trying to keep up with Cole who clearly had blushed brightly she broke the kiss panting she then started to kiss at nip at his neck '' What... what are ...we doing ? '' she asked inbetween nipping at his neck a little unsure why she asked it shaking her head she realised that she wasnt normally this easy after all she was still a virgin and she was proud of that yet as soon as she got close to Cole it seemed like all she wanted was to be close to him

Taking a few deep breathes she nuzzled into his neck for a few moments '' Dont let me go '' she mumbled her legs felt like jelly infact her whole body did but she wasnt bothered it was an amazing feeling and she couldnt stop smiling.

Cole sighed as she pulled back. Her nipping his neck wasn't making things any easier for him to resist possibly taking her then and there beneath the calm surface of the water. "We're being human." Cole told her as she asked what they were doing. She told him not to let go of her, something easier said than done. There were one or two outcomes from this: Cole could either let her stand on her own, adjust himself and go on about their day. Or he could hold onto her, deal with the discomfort of chafing, and invite her back to his apartment.

Cole decided upon the latter. "Don't worry, I won't let you go." No, Cole wouldn't. Instead he reared back and sank his own teeth into her neck; sucking on her flesh as if he were a vampire. A nearing rumble of thunderstorms broke his focus on her. "Storm's moving in." Cole told her, "Wanna come back to my place and watch a movie or something?"

Ava gasped biting her lip to stop a scream from escaping her lips she couldnt believe he was biting her neck he was going to give her a hickie ... how was she going to explain that to her father but she didnt care about that right now she was too busy being happy

Hearing the rumble of thunder she flinched letting out a whimper she hated stroms she always had for as long as she could remember and her father was away for the weeked visting family her younger sister had gone too so she had the house to herself '' Well...you can always come back to mine '' she uttered as she kissed his lips once more lightning split the sky making her jump her reaction made her bite his lip pulling away she carefully kissed his lip '' Sorry '' she whispered her cheeks flushed as she looked at the shore before up at the sky as it started to rain '' Oh no we are going to get soaked !'' she said looking at him then the water she then slapped her face '' Ok we might get wetter than we where '' she whispered before she started to swim towards the shore.

Getting out of the water she blushed as she tried to walk seductivly walk to her clothes rolling her hips slightly as she bend down and wrapped herself in her towl looking over her shoulder at him winking playfully

Cole smiled when she jumped, "Don't like storms?" He chuckled and felt her lips on his again. He wasn't expecting her to offer him a chance to come to her home. He stammered slightly when he tried to reply, "Well, I... uh...." Cole couldn't find the words to say. Cole was a smooth operator, to be sure, but this time he couldn't speak.

As she started toward the shore, Cole didn't wait long before following. He could feel the water slowly sliding down his body as he stepped out of the water behind her. His eyes found her hips and couldn't tear away as she swung them from side to side. As she bent over to grab her towel, Cole's eyes still followed her. He adjusted himself to not look so... excited and then grabbed his tank top. "Whatever we wanna do we better decide now.... " Cole said amidst another clap of Thunder. Cole was unfazed by the loud bang and kept his eyes on Ava.

If anything made Cole feel extremely at home, it was a good thunderstorm. It seemed to do the opposite for the girl with him as the fear was evident on her face. Cole looked passed her to her car and saw it sitting awkwardly. He jogged over to her car and saw her tire was flat, "Ava, sweetheart..... I have some bad news.... You've got a flat. There's no way we can fix that before the storm gets here." Cole explained, "We can go to either my place or yours, doesn't matter to me." He said with a smile. "Though, I'm hardwired to prefer my place."

Ava shook her head blushing slightly as she looked up at him '' That obvious huh ? '' she asked as she slipped on her hoodie trying to hide from the noise of the thunder '' l...l mean my house is empty till the weekend...company would be nice '' she mumbled as she grabbed her clothes and started to walk towards her car

Hearing Cole talk about a flat her mouth dropped open but that was because he had called her sweetheart it sounded nice just like the way he said her name hearing another clap of thunder Ava jumped her arm wrapping around his as she held onto him tightly '' l..l. dont care where we go as long as its away from the storm '' she uttered looking at him before seing his truck and making a quick dash to it she didnt want to cry not infront of him again she smiled over at him then up at the sky '' Last one in is a rotten egg ? '' she said before laughing at herself now she had to figure out what was going on between her and Cole but deep down she knew what she wanted to she wanted to kiss him again .. taste his lips

Dropping her bag on the floor she moved to walk over to him untying her hair letting it dance on the breeze she stood infront of him her fingers tracing up his arms slowly as she reached up on tip toes and kissed him once more '' Just one more taste '' she mumbled against his lips closing her eyes she forgot about the storm and even the rain that was now starting to pour down from the heavens

Cole chuckled as she hopped into his truck. This was more fun than Cole'd had in a very, very long time. In a way, it reminded him of how he and Rayne used to be before she left. He was very thankful for the fact that this meeting and the one before it didn't involve near as much pain nor a hospital visit. As he thought back to the injuries he suffered a year ago, Cole couldn't help but glance down at his leg. The thoughts were still very painful, mostly because of how that relationship had ended, but also from the realization that Cole had survived being hit by a damn truck.

He hopped into the truck after her and started the engine almost immediately. The truck purred as he dropped it into drive and put the pedal to the floor. It took a moment's hesitation, but the truck finally caught grip and shot forward, leaving an impressive set of ruts in the meadow. As the truck hit the road, Cole let off the gas for a moment, turning into his appropriate lane.

It didn't take long for them to get to his apartment. Both of them jumped out and ran inside just as the sky fell open. Sprinkles turned to rain then rain to a downpour. Cole looked back out the window of his living room, "Just in time..." He would have said more, but his lips were soon claimed by Ava's for another moment. "Only one?" Cole said with a smile. In truth, he could go on kissing her for as long as she wanted. Cole took some initiative himself and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her in close and planting his lips on hers in a passionate exchange.

Pulling away, he pecked her lips one final time before letting her go, "Make yourself at home, Ava." He said as he walked into the small half-bathroom on the bottom level of his apartment. He changed out of his swimming trunks and into a pair of mesh shorts. Walking out from there he went to his kitchen, "Would you like something to drink?" Cole asked as he opened the door to his refrigerator and grabbed himself a beer.

Ava stood in the kitchen of Coles apartment a little unsure of what to do since Cole had left to change her lips where still tingling from kissing him in fact her whole body was tingling still she glanced down at her body blushing when she realised she was still in just her bikini and hoody squeaking slightly she glanced around for her bag of clothes but it wasn't with her "in the mini''she growled quietly as she slowly started to strip out of her wet clothes leaving them on the floor

Looking she saw Coles clothes hanging up on the side tip toeing over to the clothes she picked up a shirt and slipped it over her head feeling the warm fabric brush against her thighs she then started to explore helping herself to a quick glass of water running her fingers through her messy damp hair a few little whisps where drying and starting to go fluffy she giggled slightly before moving to the window

Watching the down pour she loved to watched the rain she then saw the sky light up with forked lightning a scream came from her as the thunder rumbled small around her making her close her eyes a d cover her ears walking back till she felt Coles strong body behind her " OK now I'm scared" she whispered the lights flickering above them
