Tori’s a pretty chill girl, though currently a bit shy and confused because a lot has changed very fast in her life. She has a few things she gets really passionate about, can’t be arsed to give a shit about other subjects. A few of her teachers know her as ‘star student,’ most know her as ‘mildly annoying,’ and a few know her as ‘troublemaker.’ She doesn’t try to make trouble, but doesn’t go out of her way to cater to people’s sensibilities, and finds it amusing when she gets labeled as a troublemaker.

She’s friendly unless you give her a reason to be otherwise, but she’s also a bit guarded. She has extremely firm boundaries, both physically and emotionally. Cross them once and you’ll know exactly where they lie. Cross them twice and you earn a spot in her hit list. She’s chill, but she doesn’t take shit. She gives the same respect that she expects to receive, and if you find yourself in her inner circle, you have yourself a loyal friend.

Tori is new to Hammel and would really like some friends. She's pretty much cool with anyone in the absence of a good reason not to be, so she's pretty open in this regard.

Tori doesn't look to make enemies, but her strong boundaries could make for some. If she smells even a whiff of transphobia from you she will avoid you like the plague. Same if you cross her boundaries and don't apologize. People who take teasing too far and poke her sensitive spots could easily land here.

Tori's at an awkward age - she is a sexual person, and is starting to feel sexual feelings, but is definitely not going to act on any right now. Again, not looking for anything currently, but maybe in the future.

Fresh from Ireland, Kimmy is a new transfer student from the European Kocher High School for the Gifted. She is vibrant and enthusiastic and has a powerful desire to help others, which led her to intentionally open herself up to the emotions of others as much as she could. Unfortunately, she extended the limits of her power far past her ability to control it, which has caused her no end of problems. Combine that with her OCD and she's currently rather unsure of how to approach human relationships in a healthy way that doesn't emotionally overburden her, although she really wants to learn.

Ze is very friendly and kind, and the primary goal of any interaction is to understand and connect with the person ze's talking to. Ze is extremely emotionally perceptive, and has a strong desire to see the good in everyone - even when ze detects ill will. Zir friends and family are extremely important to zir, and ze will do virtually anything to make them happy.

FRIENDS – what you’re afraid of, i’ll make it disappear
Hesitancy aside, Kimmy loves friends, and is always interested in more! This is the most likely category to end up in unless a character is a raging asshole or just doesn't like her for whatever reason.

ENEMIES – i don’t like what i see on the inside
It would take quite a feat to end up in Kimmy's hit list, considering how open and accepting of all people she tries to be. That said, any enemy of Kimmy is going to be an enemy for a damn good reason, and she isn't about to forget it.

ROMANCE – it’s driving me wild, you’re my burning desire
Kimmy's never actually had this before. Ze is interested, but also cautious and afraid of hurting people. Ze is fond of the ideas around open and polyamorous relationships, and would be curious to try them out with those ze becomes romantically involved with.
(Main romance plot is already in the works, any other romance depends on whether ze explores polyamory in the future)

CHEMISTRY - seduced by hypnotic eyes and a kiss to die for
Sex, on the other hand... She does have some experience with that, though not extensive experience. She's more interested in sexual friendships than one night stands.

OTHER – a little danger’s never stopped me before

Alista is a recent dropout from the University of Vermont trying to get her footing in the proverbial 'real world.' She is blunt, opinionated, and snarky. She doesn't take shit from others and often has a hard time following social situations, which leads to some awkwardness. Though she's decent at reading others, she intellectualizes everything, so she's somewhat separated from her own emotions and sometimes has a hard time telling what she's feeling.

Technology is a huge part of her life, and those who share that interest are likely to bond with her. She is also a fluent Spanish speaker. Due to her past she has an extreme distrust of men, and defaults to dislike whenever she meets one. That doesn't mean a man couldn't find his way into her inner circle, but he would have a lot to prove.

While many people can’t deal with her social awkwardness and excessive bluntness, others find it oddly refreshing. She meets a lot of her friends online, so especially people who share her interests in technology and computers could end up here.

The fact remains that many people can’t deal with her excessive bluntness and snarkiness, and she’s so opinionated that certain lines of thought pretty much automatically land a person in this category.

This may be a bit difficult for her, considering her tendency to intellectualize her own emotions away and her previous toxic relationship, but it’s not out of the question. She thinks she could work equally well in a monogamous or a polyamorous dynamic.

Let's be blunt; Orin is a rich bitch. Her wealthy upbrining has spoiled her to the point where she doesn't take no for an answer when she wants something. Her dysfunctional family life taught her how to put on appearances, and she's excellent at it, putting on an angelic face to most and generally being pretty aggreeable to those who don't get on her bad side. She's not afraid to manipulate people to get what she wants, and she's good at it.

Rin has an authentically kind and nurturing side to those who do get close to her. Those are the people she wouldn't manipulate or use, and would do most anything for them. However, she's extremely possessive of those she does connect with, and becomes easily jealous.

I wish I could throw out a bunch of cool ideas but my brain is sort of being a jerk. Also, I have Mike, who is a trainer who specializes in physical powers, if you'd like that.

I also have Hart Kenney, who teaches middle school history and coaches track, and Joshua Bermstein, local attorney. Josh would be the hardest to thread with Tori, but not impossible. Since Hart is at the school he and Tori could interact but I have no particular ideas right now. But they are available if you so desire.

Apparently my brain is being similarly jerkish, but I'd definitely like Tori to interact with people closer to her age. Maybe one of them is bullied, and the other tries to step in to stop it, and they could bond over that (whether or not it actually works)? I'm curious to know whether you think Clement or Tomer would get along better with her.

Dryope - Heh, Tori's so bad at history that I wouldn't be surprised if she would need Hart Kenney's help in refreshing her memory/getting her back up to speed. Not as sure about Josh, but she'll definitely be downtown for reasons other than the community fair.

Sorry for lateness! I thought about Clement vs Tomer and finally decided Clement would probably get along with Tori better since their attitudes are similar, though that doesn't mean Tomer's out for threads. One of the first things Clement's going to get with his government money is a skateboard, maybe Tori can teach him how? They can be skating buddies or something. As for the bullying thing, there's something I'm formulating that might eventually come to fruition between Tomer and another student and Tori might be a good candidate to superhero in and escalate things.

Clement hasn't left the school past the outing that got him the skateboard and his school supplies, primarily because his vision is so poor that he gets very little out of leaving places he knows, but he could be trying out his new (and sort of subpar, because he doesn't have the money for a pro board, just a cheap beginner one) board somewhere and Tori could run into him, maybe while skating, and offer tips?

Kam and Kim: First I have to say that I kind of wanted to plot with Kim since I saw her bio x.x anyway! Kamillia needs the girl friends! Kam is so not judgmental... Far from it really, she doesn't care about other people's business... I have to say though in the beginning it might be a one sided friendship with Kim seeing Kam as a friend, and Kam just 'trying' to tolerate her. If it works out, Kam will start seeing her as a friend. I think Kam and Kim's friendship would be a good one, for both of them. Kam hates drama, she doesn't like it, she doesn't see the point. So there's that! Let me know what you think?

I think Noa would be really intrigued by Kimmy on first sight (just cause pink hair & beautiful girlie), and I'd love to see them interact on many levels (I actually feel like Noa could feel really attracted to Kimmy but feel a responsibility to not confuse zir by getting involved - for some reason, romance came to mind)

Also - Peyton is a super happy bubbly guy who is (most of the time, though there may be some minor bits in the works that he is unaware of) drama-free and pretty carefree. He's also very outgoing and also new, and wouldn't have any qualms with striking up a conversation with a beautiful person ^^

Astley is an art person, and idk Kimmy's artsy side, but who knows *shrug*
