Lucy feigned sadness at the disappearance of her warrior stripes. No fun. No fun at all. How was she to Major Lucky Swindle this party without them? "Reeaaallly?" Lucy asked, raising her eyebrows. She exhaled a sigh, shrugging her shoulders and opting to fix her hair again. "That's too bad. I'll have to keep that in mind. I guess you really aren't keen on me after all." Oh, how painful the look on her face was. But she just smiled at each new stint of paint on her clothing, like she was proud of it.
"I dunno, it looks good red to me." Lucy pointed out, pursing her lips and nodding at the thought. "That sounds worse than punching. You're way too used to the gun violence of America."
She scoffed to herself, tilting her head to one side slightly as her eyes narrowed. "You? On the ground? Begging? I don't think that'll ever happen." Lucy replied, feeling as if she was learning something new with every extended encounter. She must have been the stubborn-type. That was obvious, but this reaffirmed the fact. To the point where you-can-touch-me-later seemed to go right over her head. So lost in her thought was she that when she realised what was going on, the other girl was already gone.
And she stood alone, surrounded in a mess that she sure as shit wasn't going to clean up.
Lucy offered the simple raise of her eyebrows. "Ohh nooo I'm so scared. You couldn't possibly turn up right in my face, that would be stupid." Standing alone, she vaguely remembered an episode of Naruto where this happened. Unfortunately, she didn't have the option to smash all the shit around her. She had no choice but to wait it out.
When arms suddenly circled around her, she instinctively jumped a bit. Damn her own paranoia! "Yeah well, that's bullshit!" She called out, using the wet paint to wiggle her way around so she might face her. "No, you don't win. You barely did anything!"
