Going Merrily Around [OPEN]

Sora checked his watch for the nth time this particular morning. The hands indicated that it was only a few minutes until ten. He leaned his chin against the top the the Ford. he had the day planned out for his class, the only thing left was for students to get there. He specifically asked the kids to get there on time, at ten. He was expecting some to arrive early, after all he said first come first serve.

He was going to guide the student down to Winooski. It was a good length drive from up in Pilot Ridge in the middle of the mountains, but it'd be some good practice. There was a traffic circle down in the Onion city that sat on a hill. At ten or eleven in the morning on a weekday, Sora felt that this would be a good place to work on roundabouts with the students. 

It wasn't like roundabouts were the hardest part of driving. He was going to take the students down to the curvy dirt roads of Westford, and teach them how to handle skidding when it got cold and icy this winter.

If only one would show up though. With the keys being fiddled with in his hand, Sora gave a deep sigh. He was planning on grading them, so why wasn't there a student yet?

Maria sighed and looked at the watch, thinking it was 8:00 to see that it was 9: 56...Oh crap![i/] She screamed and grabbed her sunglasses fast and charged out of her dorm room like a rocket. If only she could go that fast. Instead she had to be aware of stuff. She smiled wide at her genuis thought and thought about taking a short cut. As soon as she went outside she shivered. She was glad she remembered to get her jacket. She ran and ran until she finally saw the truck, although it was far she knew she could get there. Where were the others? She shruggged and looked with wide eyes at her surroundings.

She smirked once she saw the shortcut, this was going to look like a show off but she didn't want to be late. She jumped over a small bush and started to go down a sharp slope to get there a lot quicker. "COMING!" She wanted him to know she was coming. She kept looking down and ran down, missing rocks barely and some ice patches. She slid once and giggled. Once she made it to the bottom she charged for the truck and stopped once she got there. "Hi!" Sorry I thought it was eight o clock until I looked-where is everyone else?" Maybe they were hiding?
