PLAYER WANTS
What is your plotting philosophy?
Generally, I like to have some sense of where a thread is going before we get started. What is the goal of this thread, what is the anticipated end result? Is it to bring two characters closer as friends, or create/resolve a conflict, or start a relationship? In other words, what's the point? I don't usually like random slice of life 'two characters talking' roleplays, as I lose muse for them very rapidly. So let's come up with something interesting.
What types of plots are you interested in playing?
I'll consider anything. It's difficult to say what I'm interested in because so many of my plots are just created organically while I'm talking to someone about our characters. Melody needs faculty friends and students; Tanner needs friends and perhaps a love interest; Roger needs playmates; Liz, Cynthia, and Barbara need friends and colleagues. Come at me with anything you got, and perhaps we can create something together.
What types of plots are you not interested in playing?
I'm not interested in anything exceedingly violent, particularly sexual violence or abuse.
How often can you reply to any given thread?
It depends on how interesting the thread is. If we're having a grand old time, I can reply once a day or more. Otherwise, once every few days. If I haven't replied in a week... yeah, I probably lost interest. That's why I like to plot things out in advance, to ensure the thread is going somewhere and doesn't just fizzle out.
What is the longest you're willing to wait for a reply to a thread?
For most threads, a week or two, though if I'm really enjoying the roleplay, I might start to get antsy. But I never nag.
Are you open to RPing over instant messengers? If so, what's the best way to contact you and what times are you generally available?
I'm always open to plotting over chatango, but I don't want to do the actual roleplay over IMs.
Are you open to post volleying?
Yes! We can set that up over chatango. Best for me would be weekends or weekday evenings. If I'm really enjoying a thread, I'm definitely willing to do this.
Anything else?
Crackships become me. I love taking two people who make seemingly no sense together and seeing how they fit; you'd be surprised what can happen! I also love Alternative Universe threads, so let's come up with some good ideas when A/U time comes around!
PLAYER LIMITS
What are your limits regarding powerplay/godmoding?
If it's something minor (you have both our characters turn a street corner, order coffee, go up the elevator, etc.), then of course that's fine. If it's thread-altering or life-altering, let's talk!
What are your limits in regards to romantic situations?
I'm very much open to hearing out any suggestions. I'm not one to try to find 'finals' for my characters, but I'm of course open to having them flirt, date, start a relationship, and see where it goes. That said, Liz is married to a NPC, so that doesn't apply to her.
What are your limits in regards to sex (within the TOS)?
Anyone who's seen me talk about Roger knows I don't avoid sexual plots, as long as they make sense. Again, let's just plot it out before we get started.
What are your limits in regards to violent scenes (within the TOS)?
I'm not comfortable with violent scenes, except in A/U (I have had some very violent A/U fics and threads, haha). None of my characters would ever be found in those sorts of situations in canon, though, so it's not really applicable.
What are your limits in regards to abuse/rape in plots?
Never.
Anything else?
Nope! Just check out my plot page and let me know if you have any ideas! Thanks for reading!
