January Yearbook Superlative Nominations!

Along with our OTMs, we are also doing nominations for the yearbook superlatives. For those who never did superlatives during their time in school, they are awards given to other students that are based on skill, personality, appearance, interests, or reputation, such as "Funniest", "Most likely to be arrested at the Canadian border", "Most likely to become President", "Geek Chic" etc.

We are starting with five seniors for this month:

Alyssa Ramius
Judah Linn
Danielle Cooper
Chester Douglas

Students can be nominated for multiple categories by multiple people. All players can nominate, regardless of whether they currently play a Hammel student.


Please remember that these are for the IC Yearbook, which will be approved by Ms. Wilson. As such, nothing cruel, sexual, violent, profane, or relating to drug or alcohol use/abuse will be accepted.


Each month we will do more students so that every senior has been reached by IC Hammel graduation.

Nominations will close on January 28, when polls go up.


Additionally, if you play a senior who is graduating in June 2014, please check the photos to make sure that your character is listed. If not, please PM Dryope on her Joshua Bernstein or retired Staff Account so that she can have your character added.

Nomination: Queen of Cool
Reasons: Eloise is calm and collected no matter the circumstances. Training with an empath? She's not going to be overly emotional (except for when Adaryn amplifies her emotions). Hearing from a precog that she's destined to be with the guy whose boots she can't stand? Sure, she may not believe it, but she's not going into dramatics about it, either. She's got her emotions under wraps, and nobody's going to shake that.

Reasons:Her father's wealth has helped provide her with an expensive, enviable wardrobe.

Student Nominated: Alyssa Ramius
Nomination: Most likely to major in philosophy
Reasons: No matter the circumstances, Alyssa is always discussing the larger world around her and theorizing about how the universe works

Nomination: Most Likely to Live In a Fairy Tale
Reasons: She's so whimsical and innocent, and then add in that she gives her friend's talismans for presents and she's a very good candidate for ending up in a fairy tale world.

Nomination: Most Likely to be a Cartoonist
Reasons: Is he ever NOT doodling on something? He even doodles on his napkins when there's no paper available.

Nomination:Most Likely to Rescue the Princess
Reasons:Dani's video game interest is pretty well-known....so of course she'll beat the final boss before everyone else and get the girl. Right?

Nomination: Most Likely to Own a Business Empire
Reasons: He's such a quintessential snobby rich kid, what other reason do you need?

Reasons: Both because of her father's wealth and her French heritage.

Nomination:Most Polite
Reasons: Alyssa shyness and introverted-ness often leads her to looking polite and apologetic, especially when she goes so far as to address her peers as "Miss"

Nomination:Most Likely to Burn Off His Eyebrows
Reasons: When you carry about bandages for burns, it's a pretty clear sign ya don't have the whole pyro thing under control.

Nomination:Most Bubble-y
Reasons:Sunshine, smiles, and bubble tea. If she doesn't brighten your day, not much will.

Nomination:Most Likely to Have a Painted Self-Portrait in his Future Home
Reasons:Because Chester sometimes has a bit of a big ego. And all future billionaires need a oil painting of themselves to hang above the mantel.

Reasons: Eloise is a child of opportunity, and given that Hammel students come from every segment of society, who wouldn't want access to some of what she's had in life?

Student Nominated: Alyssa Ramius
Nomination: Biggest Heart
Reasons: Alyssa is a sweet girl who comes across as nice, quiet, polite, and calm. Her devotion to friends and her tendency to shy from confrontation give off the impression of caring deeply.

Student Nominated: Judah Linn
Nomination: Hammel Encyclopedia
Reasons: Nobody at Hammel can memorize facts the way Judah can. If he solved mysteries, he would be Encyclopedia Linn.

Student Nominated: Danielle Cooper
Nomination: Geek Chic
Reasons: Danielle is a geek, and she isn't shy about telling you why she knows what she knows, why there's nothing wrong with it, and why she's right. That confidence combined with her knowledge and interests make her the chicest geek.

Student Nominated: Chester Douglas
Nomination: Most Likely to Live a Double Life
Reasons: He already lives a double life; it must be exhausting trying to keep up appearances around staff members while being the entitled person he is around other students. Years of practice will only make him better at it and more inclined to keep it up as an adult.
