February Yearbook Superlative Nominations!

Along with our OTMs, we are also doing nominations for the yearbook superlatives. For those who never did superlatives during their time in school, they are awards given to other students that are based on skill, personality, appearance, interests, or reputation, such as "Funniest", "Most likely to be arrested at the Canadian border", "Most likely to become President", "Geek Chic" etc.

Students can be nominated for multiple categories by multiple people. All players can nominate, regardless of whether they currently play a Hammel student.


Please remember that these are for the IC Yearbook, which will be approved by Ms. Wilson. As such, nothing cruel, sexual, violent, profane, or relating to drug or alcohol use/abuse will be accepted.


Each month we will do more students so that every senior has been reached by IC Hammel graduation.

Nominations will close on January 28, when polls go up.


Additionally, if you play a senior who is graduating in June 2014, please check the photos to make sure that your character is listed. If not, please PM Dryope on her Joshua Bernstein or retired Staff Account so that she can have your character added.

Reasons: Okay, seriously. xD Calli can't lie to save her life. It's been proven time and again, then stated explicitly in a thread where she manages to introduce Lucah to her brothers. But it's not just her siblings that always know when something's up - ask her friends, roommates, and former significants, and they'll probably all tell you the same thing.

Nomination: Angriest Housekeeper Ever
Reasons: This may have just been for one thread, but I'm very amused at how vigorously violent Penelope is at cleaning when she's upset. xD I expect her to go hunting for dust bunnies with an AK-47 filled with dust-disintegration bullets and a side-arm that's a Windex bottle. Maybe some Pledge bombs, too, for rooms with lots of wood. (This should totally be an AU, btw.)

Nomination: Up for a White Knight Nomination
Reasons: Gryph is seriously one of the most loyal students here at the school. Pretty much no matter what, his friends can do (almost) no wrong and he's there to defend them to the last. Added bonuses, of course, if he gets to butt heads with Oriel Vanguard along the way.

Nomination: Rocky the Flying Squirrel
Reasons: She can be bubbly when she's not depressed, and she glides instead of flies. Rocky might be the most apt cartoon comparison there is.

Nomination: Most Artistic
Reasons: This will be a highly contested category, but Aryana is a strong contender to take home the prize. Art is her passion, and also one of her methods of communication.

Student Nominated: Calliope Gallo
Nomination: Hammel's Half-Full Glass
Reasons: Callie is an eternal optimist, which means her glass is always half-full and never half-empty.

Student Nominated: River Tseung
Nomination: Disney Prince(ss)
Reasons: His personality matches the potential of his power, which is to say that he can control the minds of animals through music. Like Cinderella and her enslaved mice. And essentially every other Disney princess. River's power is simply upfront about it.

Student Nominated: Rowan Booker
Nomination: Most Likely to Be a Social Worker
Reasons: Considering that so many of Rowan's friends and loved ones come to him for advice, it's quite possible that social work is in his future. He'd be good at it.

Nomination: Girl in the Bubble
Reasons: This nomination has double meaning, referring both to Penelope's introversion and need for personal space, as well as her desire to keep everything clean, organized, and tidy.

Nomination: Most Likely to Become an Ornithologist
Reasons: Given Gryphon's powers, it's only a matter of time.

Student Nominated: Sawyer Lynn
Nomination: Hammel-a-Go-Go
Reasons: I don't think that Sawyer ever sits. She's constantly active, constantly hyper, and always on the move.

Nomination: Friendliest
Reasons: When she's not dealing with the emotional difficulties of her illness, she's a wonderful friend to have around. She's charming, she's sweet, and she's not typically sarcastic and rude to people she's just met.

Student Nominated: Aryana Darcy
Nomination: Most likely to be the next Mike Tyson
Reasons: Hopefully with less ear biting, but you never know.

Student Nominated: Calliope Gallo
Nomination: Most Dedicated Dancer
Reasons: She never misses her classes. Not ever. And even though her power's side effects can make some dance moves painful if she overdoes them, she still does it anyway.

Student Nominated: River Tseung
Nomination: Most likely to spontaneously begin a musical
Reasons: He's sweet. He's cute. He sings. His singing attracts forest animals. You do the math.

Student Nominated: Rowan Booker
Nomination: Most likely to be a self-help guru
Reasons: He's super supportive of all his friends, and tries to make sure that everyone who can't go home for the holidays can forget that for a little while. Forget his playboy ways, he's clearly headed for a role as the supporter of the team.

Nomination: Most likely to take a vow of silence
Reasons: She doesn't like talking to other people very much, and the only person she really likes she doesn't have to talk to. They can just kiss. That's how it works isn't it

Reasons: If you are what you eat, and Gryph eats ice cream at least once a week....

Reasons: Does she ever call anyone by their name? If she does, it probably means she doesn't like you

Reasons: Because it seems to be a big part of her life... and who would mind having her as a teacher?

Nomination: Most likely to work with troubled kids.
Reasons: Based on how he attracted Kodiak and Phoenix, I bet he already has a lot of knowledge/experience in that field...
