Oriel/Ash - I really wanna see how these two respond to each other. Oriel's got issues. A hella ton of them, though he's been making improvements over the past year. I want to see him backtrack and I have a feeling that an/a few encounter(s) with Ash might help with this. I dunno, just an idea. Or just see how things go, because things never usually go how I expect with Oriel.

Brooke/Ash - Brooke is my crazy girl, I <3 her. Again, this is a matter of seeing how these two might mesh together. Brooke is liable to find Ash interesting and if they can share intelligent or unique conversation, then Brooke will definitely like her. But we'll have to see first. What you think?

For Oriel- I gotta admit I'm charmed by him already. There's (as far as I can tell right now) a good 50/50 shot of Ash either having no tolerance for him, or being surprisingly amused. He seems a little similar to her only friend outside Hammel, so if she picked up on those details first she might be more tolerant of his company. Otherwise, there could be some interesting if not volatile sparks~ If you had any ideas for a particular scene or starting point for them, I'm all for it.

As for Brooke- I have no idea how Ash would react to her, but I really like that fact. Throwing them together sounds fascinating and fun, and like Oriel I'd be eager for anything if you had any ideas out of the gate. If not, you're more than welcome to hit me up on skype or chatango to chatter about possible thread ideas.

Ivy&Ash

I really could see this either being a mutual hate, or an awkward friendship. Ivy's only nice when she has to be, and really won't offer a smile unless she feels it is expected of her to do so. However, with Ash's rather antisocial personality, it could either clash or rub well with my Precognitive Dreamer. They both can know things about other people that they don't necessarily want to know, and so they can bond over that... or not. But maybe Ivy's the target of Ash's attempts to make friends? We can see how it goes from there.

Hmm. After reading up on her some, I think their personalities have a strong chance of getting along well. Ivy’s habit of keeping people at arm’s length would probably make Ash feel less pressured to adhere to social norms, if she ever picked up on it. So there’s a good chance of things going well there~ If you’d like to I could set a thread up? Maybe Ash decides to pick a victim and try for conversation, and Ivy’s the lucky winner of one awkward exchange?

Antosha & Ashley: While not officially the art teacher (not unofficially either) Ant is shadowing Devon this semester as part of his graduating requirements at the college. He'll be around Hammel a lot and due to him being 6'10 I imagine a short person like herself would often need help. He doesn't mind bluntness or rudeness or anything like that because, as I say a lot with Antosha, he's been there, done that. He's also got experience dealing with telepaths as his sister (Mayu Yoshiko) is one. I don't know why THAT matters but I felt like I should mention it. Uhhh.. Ant's gunna be in the art room a lot, which I imagine will be fairly empty outside of art class so maybe if she's artistic at all they could meet there?

Mathis & Ashley: Tehehehe... Mathis is this hyper, over active puppy boy. He's uber friendly and can't help saying hi to every face he hasn't met yet. I imagine they would have run into each other at some point since they've both been at Hammel at least two years together. But even if they hadn't I'm sure they can run into one another now. And anyway. While I want to try them out I'm pretty sure Mathis' being so friendly and talkative will be off putting to Ash and make her say rude things. To which Mathis is not accustom to dealing with.

First off- totally digging the Jacoby Shaddix as a playby. Papa Roach was the first band to get me into rock so I have to geek just a little. That saiid (oh, and nice to meet you, duh)--

Antosha-- Oo, tall person. Points already cause her only friend is tall as nuts so the common detail there would make her more comfortable around him, even if only slightly and without her realizing. As for being artsy, I think beyond dance and piano she was never really given the chance to explore arts. It was never part of her homeschooling and she never pursued it on her own. So maybe if the art room is empty she could slip in there for some quiet, and wind up meeting Antosha, possibly trying her hand at some things from there? I get the feeling she’d be terrible at painting and sketching, but she loves learning new skills even if she’s bad at them. Oh- as for him being familiar with telepaths, that’d probably up the chances of things going well since she’s secretly really nervous about people getting turned away when they find out what her power is.

Anyway if people is what makes her nervous or uncomfortable then as long as she likes animals she'll probably like Antosha even more. Once around other metas he likes letting his eyes flicker between human and feline a lot so he'll be real... catish XD. Heh. Onto the other note of meeting Ant and trying her hand at artistic things I feel I should mention that he DOES know and practice other mediums. He'd be willing to help her try photography, sculpting, metal-work-sculpting ((which was taught to him, ironically, by a boy named Ashley)). That's about all he's got in his arsenal but it's plenty. He's actually not good at sculpting but he practices a lot regardless. ^^ And trust me, he won't be turned away by her telepathy. He deals with Mayu and Sean on regular bases, he's quite accustom to telepaths. He'll even attempt to monitor his own thoughts around her!... He'll also attempt to aim thoughts directly at her as well, just to see if she'll catch on.

Antosha-- Not gonna lie he sounds more and more like someone she’d get on with. Not that she realizes it yet, but Ash is actually pretty fascinated by other metas and their powers. So a tall guy with cat eyes teaching her things she doesn’t know about? Yeah. She’d like him. Probably not on any level even close to romantic or largely personal, but if she had a choice between an empty room or one with Ant in it, she’d probably aim for his company. Which is fairly abnormal for her, so yay there~ Artistically I’m not sure what she’d take to over what, but as soon as she found out all the things he could do she’d probably less-than-gracefully demand/beg him to teach her all that he could.

Mathis-- Ohh, that is a great question. Ash frequents her dorm and the library most often, but really the only place she’d just about never be is the student lounge or cafeteria. The idea of Mathis catching her somewhere out of her zone is interesting though, so if you had a preference outside those places I’d be down with it. If not uhmm lessee.. She could be lingering between classes in one of the classrooms, or even at the pond if it was a nice enough day out. Auditorium or Training Rooms would work too, for places for her to basically be hiding away from large groups without fully retreating to her room.

I feel the same way, it’s often a hit or miss on whether or not Oriel likes a person upon first meeting, and that’s generally based on his current mood overall and how the other person responds to him. If she can tolerate his verbal lashings, then he’s probably bound to like her though. Either that, or will make it a game to see what he can do or say to get an emotional response. As for starting point, Oriel tends to stick around campus, usually in the courtyard or pond area, very rarely in the cafeteria, if any of those places work for you. He might also be found beating up a vending machine(hopefully not our brand new vending machine shifter).

Oriel-- Hopefully not, since I don’t think a People for the Ethical Treatment of Vending Machines will catch on as a club. As for location Ash generally could be anywhere, though places she’d next to never be would be the cafeteria or student lounge. The pond is easily doable if there was a mood of wanting fresh air without too many people around. Being outside makes her a little anxious though so that could prove to add something to the scene as far as attitude/temperament goes. Would you prefer I set up a thread for this occasion, or would you like to?

Brooke-- Ash, from what I can assume, is not fond of having to see poor Mister Neville at all. So she might show up for an appointment and sit to wait and wind up sitting there with Brooke. For as antisocial as she is I don’t see conversation being hard to start, since she’d be on edge in that environment and thus more prone to doing something versus sitting there in silence. I don’t think she’s ever spoken to anyone else who’s gone to a psychiatrist so she might view Brooke with an attitude of “you’re either crazy or needy and I wanna know which”. Not the healthiest reason to start talking to a stranger, but it’s something?

Oriel-- Totally cool with me =D As soon as I get done with this drawing I’m working on I’m more awake and should be able to reply and such.

Brooke-- Ash took up learning about psychology mostly to spite her old therapist, so while she doesn’t honestly have an interest in it, she could probably keep up with Brooke if they got on the topic of it. Overall I get the feeling they have a lot more common ground than Ash would expect, and that kind of surprise would do her well.
