Mathis is like a puppy. A small adorable puppy that yips and barks at everything it sees. He loves just about anyone and everyone he sees and often will just bounce right up to you to say hi. Mathis is a bit awkward when it comes to talking about personal things, though he doesn’t mind sitting while you discuss your life’s problems- just don’t expect an eloquent response. He really likes playing basketball, cooking, dancing, food in general.. And I dunno what else to write for you. ^^

Demetrius is almost the opposite of his best friend. Where Mathis is all sweetness and sugar, Demetrius is hardened and sarcastic. He doesn't like people, doesn't trust people, and prefers his social interactions devoid of well... Interaction. He spends his time running his mouth whenever anyone is around and the rest of the time he's off by himself in a corner somewhere. However underneath the rough, biting, I-hate-you shell there is a rather gentle if somewhat naive guy. Good lucking breaking that shell, though. On a side note (in case you don't read the bio) Demetrius suffers from CIP (congenital insensitivity to pain) which means he can't feel pain and will often find himself wounded far after the injury occurred. He also has a rather substantial problem eating anything but apples in front of people, but that means if you manage to befriend him that he'll just shove his food to you! ...Also... He just started Hammel schooling in May 2014 due to his late power manifestation.

Greg Mackenzie- he finds Greg attractive, he enjoys Greg's snark, and he thinks Greg makes a damn good pillow. If only Greg would shut his mouth.

Marnie Sullivan- She dated the idiot. Her only saving grace is she kept her mouth shut and Greg likes her. Dem feels bad that he insulted her, but not enough to apologize.
Vincent Romanov- While Demetrius wouldn't classify Vincent as someone he hates... He also isn't someone Demetrius truly cares for. He respects Vincent and doesn't mind a conversation every once in awhile.
Mike Batista- Dem's trainer. Someone he respects, with a healthy amount of fear. But he's slowly beginning to trust the older man.

Lukas can often get mistaken for a cold, uncaring man if one only knows him at the workplace. He likes to keep his life in separate compartments; with his coworkers not knowing about his personal life, and his family life not knowing about his work place troubles. Because of this Lukas avoids making friends at Hammel and will only mix business with pleasure when he happens to see the coworker outside the school. Most of his free time is eaten up by spending time with his large family but he could use some grown up time every now and then. ((They take male fosters, preferably 10 years or older. The twins are a fairly rambunctious bunch. They love to do things, anything really, and are often far too excited over the simplest of things. Ant&Kris - Hrm. I don't know if these two are going to get on. Krissi doesn't really like art, there's about ten years between them, and they're just not very likely to meet.

Ant&Nini - If Ant finds out that Nini is a gestalt and not just two identical twins who are otherwise perfectly normal, he might warm up, but I think Nini might be properly sworn off him by then, 'cause she's not got any desire to hang around with people who are going to be dickish. Sure, they're both into art, but he seems a bit too bitter and humourless for Nini to deal with.

Okay, so here's what I thought of for Beth and your characters:

Ant & Beth
I think these two would get along on a sort of... let's meet for coffee and talk about art and my clothes or go catch a movie sometime level. And Beth could for sure help him out with his pain, but she'd insist on finding a quiet place to do it because she does have hypersensitivity issues as a side effect of using her ability. Unfortunately they don't seem like the types who would go out of their way to connect. I'd be happy to put Beth in a damsel in distress position for a moment to connect them. Maybe the heel of shoe breaks while she's crossing the road near the college. Ant to the rescue!

Mathis & Beth
If we wanted to connect these two I think that Beth would end up developing a big sister attitude towards him, especially after losing her little sister who was about his age (and despite not having written it into the profile, I imagined Charlotte a lot like you've written Mathis). I can see Beth getting into Anime, if he exposed her to it. And she'd make killer costumes if he was into cosplaying... She also cooks, and so that could be something they could bond over. And if he can put up with her being negative once in a while, I'm sure they'd get along. She likes sunny people. And if he's the type to approach someone off on her own, there's a good chance he'd get to talk to Beth.

I couldn't think of anything dramatic. Let me know what you think.

For a first lesson I was thinking maybe Ant could recommend India ink since it has a distinct look while also being simpler to use than watercolors, but that's just a thought I had. Ant could be like "you suck at this, try stained glass" for all I care.

It may be easier but Ant is more likely to show her to actual paints. Aka- not India inks since they are ideally blacks. It would seem marnie desires the color rather than the distinct style or such so in his head he'd want to teach her ways to do that that is simpler. Ideally he'd like her to start with pencils but that is not everyone's thing. Maybe give oil painting a go

Josie/Antosha - one detail I missed the first time around is that Antosha and Josie would actually have been attending Hammel as students around the same time, since Ant is only one year older. Neither of them is especially proud of who they were during their teen years, it sounds like, so suddenly being around a peer who remembers what that time was like could be awkward or supportive. Also, Antosha has moved up by becoming a student teacher, whereas Josie is just a janitor, so that could result in feelings of inadequacy on her part.

Josie/Mathis - I could see these two getting along alright. Josie is more likely to be rude than Mathis, but generally she's only rude in response to something (although that "something" could be very small). Either they'd get on fine because Mathis is too nice to provoke a negative response, or he makes a small slip-up and Josie overreacts.

Josie/Demetrius - These two would clash at first, no doubt. Dem has the advantage of not being an employee who could be fired by mouthing off to students, but Josie has the advantage of being older and successfully weathering her teen years when her attitude was similar to Dem's.

Josie/Lukas - These two would probably meet at some point because they technically work together, even though their work is so different. Josie would respect the fact that he takes his work seriously, if they're around each other enough for her to get that impression.

Josie/Antosha: I love that idea! Ant doesn't have enough high school acquaintances! ((And he's going to be becoming a teacher in the fall... So. Yeah.)) He wouldn't purposely try to make her feel inadequate and I could see him asking her out to drinks or something, for a lack of knowing how else to interact with her.

Josie/Mathis: Matty deals with Demetrius, she'll be no problem. He'd love to get to know her and would probably start bringing her cookies or some kind of baked treat. ((I swears... He makes 4 dozen cookies a day to keep sharing with everyone))

Josie/Demetrius: I think it'd be nice to thread these two... My mind's gone blank though I'm afraid...

Josie/Lukas: Well he could always have some kind of mess he'd need her to help him clean up. Perhaps he had the younger students doing a kind of poster project and they've gotten glue on everything or paint or something? General messiness from classroom projects. He's the kind of guy who would probably help her clean up since it was his fault there was a mess.
