Flings huh? A good sign. A really good sign. So if she did end up getting into trouble with him, there wasn't any worry about him being a clinger. None of that awkward "we should talk about where we're going" crap that she had heard plenty about but luckily had dodged the fuck out of herself. But then again, she hadn't ever got to where that would really be an issue either, so there was that. Yeah, she hadn't given anyone the idea that she was serious about anything. So, no one could say she did any false advertising when it came to that.
"Even if you hadn't offered lunch, you woulda been hot, so there's that too." She pointed out.
Seriously though. She might not have been the worst kind of person out there, but she thought that calling her a good person would have been a little bit of a stretch. She had too much fun getting into mischief. And if there was someone crying or some shit, she got the hell out of dodge rather than talking them through it, because it just wasn't her problem and she didn't want it to be. It risked clingers. The only kind of cling-ons she liked were spelled with a "k" and were in Star Trek.
"Oh I'm always hungry when cheeseburgers are involved." She replied before taking a good healthy non valley-girl bite from the burger.
A soft hum of pleasure came from her at the taste even as she wiped some of the sauce off the corners of her lips with her thumb before licking it off the digit.
She has just finished with that bite and was about to take another but was interrupted by a snerk at the comment he made. Not so much the comment, but the "young lady" part of it.
"You're giving me some mixed signals here, Corbin. You say you don't want me to call you those names that shall not be named, but here you are saying that "young lady" bit like you want me to." She quipped with a raised brow.
"How about I tell you on date two? That way it'll have been enough time so I might be able to get away with it due to lack of evidence and all." She replied playfully.
