It was a Saturday, and as per usual, she sat at her piano, concentrating on a rather difficult piece of music that she had been working to at least go through from start to finish, but in the end, there was no luck. The redhead had been working on it for weeks, but the frustration she had felt was at its max, and she had to just step away. So in its place, a marathon of Sherlock played on the television.
That was, until there was a knock at her door.
There wasn't much surprise within Sienna, knowing full well it was one of the girls she called her friend. They always had something planned, and while she still enjoyed adhering to a set schedule, Saturday's were usually completely open for events such as this.
So when a head of blonde hair appeared in a casual sundress and sandals at her door, she was expecting something that involved dressing up.
"Sienna!" She chirped, inviting herself in with a light shove between Sienna's body and the door.
"What're we doing now?"
"Hot piece of ass at this petting zoo that I just found out about. Leila says that he's as sweet as pie, and mmm do I want me a slice."
Sienna just stared dumfoundedly at the blonde who had just sat down on her couch, grabbing a piece of popcorn.
"And you want me to come because you want me to advocate for you? Anna, you're a mess."
"But I'm a hot mess, right? And you will be too!"
Sienna didn't get to respond as she was dragged towards her bedroom.
--------------
Holly sat lazily against the frame of the couch, watching Anna as she said nearly unintelligible words to Sienna, who managed to get her counterpart in jeans and a long sleeved shirt. Sienna herself wore a gray turtleneck, jeans, knee high black boots and a jacket.
No matter how long she lived in Vermont, she could never get used to the cold.
But as it were, Sienna could only make out the plan of going to the petting zoo and finding the said manager of the petting zoo and chat him up a bit. To which Sienna would insert nice compliments about her personality and whatnot, and then allow them to live happily ever after.
Something like that.
Either way, Sienna offered Holly a light brush and a treat before leaving with her phone, wallet, and keys in a small tote bag, listening to Anna chatter with the most excitement she had heard from the blonde in months.
------------------------
The petting zoo was a quaint, farm-like area that had the barn converted as was the surrounding area into a fully functioning operation. To be honest, a reason why there wasn't much opposition (despite the fact that she wouldn't have won with a no, anyway) was that Sienna did love animals, and the farm type setting reminded her of her family back in Cuba. Except, well, without headless chickens running around.
"So what does he look like?" Sienna inquired as they reached the admissions area, Sienna pulling out some cash to pay for herself, Anna paying her ticket fare as well.
"Tall, Muscular, blue eyes that could melt through even the hardest stone..." Anna offered, her eyes shining with excitement that only had Sienna raising a brow at.
To say Sienna wasn't appreciative of the opposite sex was a lie, but she had never felt compelled to seek out relationships in anything but the platonic sense, so for Anna to be actively looking for it, well, she found it to be a bit odd.
"What if he's an asshole?"
"No man as good looking as that could be an ass. Plus, word around town is that he's not rude, but super mysterious. What could be more fun than playing chase?"
"You see, when you start going there, that's when you lose me. I could think of ten things that are better than chasing a guy around who may or may not be into you." Sienna didn't chase, nor was she ever chased. It was simply a fact of her personality. Hell, she hadn't even kissed anyone at that point, but it would be the death of her to say something. After all, it was bad enough they knew she hadn't really dated anyone since 'high school'.
But during that talk, Sienna noticed her rummaging around in her purse for an item, which she most definitely came up short by the looks of her face. . "Oh my god, Sienna, I think I left my phone in the car. I'll be right back, okay?"
"Okay, just call me when you get back. I'm just going to take a look around."
Because what did Sienna have to worry about in an area such as this? That, and there were baby goats that she was dying to see.
-------
A few minutes later, she received a text message from Anna stating that something had come up and that it was an emergency - she also said she had to take the car (It was Anna's car anyway) back home and that she would be back in a few hours to swing by and pick her up.
There were apologies made, and Sienna couldn't believe what she was reading. Instead of texting "Yeah, okay," like she usually would have, Sienna just offered, "Don't even bother." And it was sent.
But in that distraction, she ran into someone and staggered back. "Aye!" The redhead hissed between her teeth in surprise, looking up and seeing who she ran into.
Tall, blue eyes, muscular.
"I'm so sorry," The redhead said, trying her hardest not to turn red with embarrassment.
