Likewise, Kristina understood the struggle of not being quick on her feet. While some people like Jade always had a snarky comment ready for use, she didn't. She tried, really, but still struggled. It was why during her time at Hammel Kristina had the tendency to keep to herself. To keep quiet and watch pass through the lens of her camera. At the time, she had been too serious for her own good and found it hard to associate with her classmates.
It had been lonely, sure, but Kristina didn't regret it.
She let out a gentle laugh, matched with a smile. Surprisingly, Kristina hadn't been called that before. She was usually more reserved and in the background, preferring to stock the shelves and fold clothes rather than interact with customers. But her manager insisted that she take a more central role now that the Czech girl had experience; she had to learn to lead the way. Her brown eyes landed on Anjali's form in the jacket, with a nod of approval. It looked good. Really good. She almost blushed, eyes lingering for a moment before Kristina forced herself to look away. The last thing she wanted to do was to creep the pretty girl out.
A look of concern flashed across her face before Kristina realized she was joking. Her posture relaxed, not as rigid as before. She grinned, pointing to a mirror. "Don't hate me, hate the fact that the jacket looks amazing on you."
"Well now that you mention it..." She joked. "No, I promise, nothing else. I won't let you leave the store with anything else besides the jacket. I assume you're ready to check out then?"
