Karalie is a senior at Hammel. Most positions are open. She's a southern belle, goody two shoes kind of girl. Sweet and sassy, smart and a little withdrawn. She definitely comes off as bitchy, and can be witty, but she's loyal and friends will see that right away. She takes good care of herself, is well groomed and likes spending money. It's probably best to steer clear of sticky topics with her, like the rights of homosexuals, prochoice and most anything very right wing, as you'll start a heated debate.  She's a good baptist girl, intent on being virtuous until the day she's married.

Friends: Though she can be a bit of a loner, Karalie likes having friends. She finds girls to be bitchy and boys to be disgusting, but she also hates really being alone and likes having someone to confide in. She's good at keeping secrets, and her biggest fear is seeing something one of her friends doesn't want her to. She's probably lost plenty of friends this way..

Enemies: Let's face it; when you're rich and beautiful, people hate you. Karalie doesn't pretend she's neither of these things. Especially a girl who has some very strong right wing opinions.

Anjali is a down to earth, sweet, forgetful girl. She has a deep love for everything natural and her family. She's very studious but also enjoys having a good time, always up for hanging out with friends and doing almost anything. She loves to dance and laugh though she doesn't really drink, and though she's typically late and forgetful, she's otherwise very dependable.

Friends: If you can tolerate her slippery mind, Anjali is an easy person to be friends with.  Eager to help, and always there for those who need her and rarely judgemental (even in the worst of cases), she is a good choice for a friend.

Enemies: I don't see her having many enemies.  She may dislike your attitude though, which could put you on her "don't want to associate with" list.  I supposed that's as close to an enemy as one might become with Anjali

Romance: Anjali has never really dated.  Her parents often try to set her up with someone, but she has always managed to wiggle away unscathed.  Being so far from home has helped with this scenario.  It's not that she dislikes boys, it's just that she's simply not attracted to them.  At all.  She has long come to terms with the fact that she's far more interested in women, but for fear of finding herself in her parents bad graces she has kept herself tucked deeply in the closet.

Rhys is a troubled young man who has a plethora of of both positive and negative qualities.  He is quiet, loyal, fierce and bitter.  He'll help someone out in a pinch if he considers them in need of help, but would easily turn someone away if he didn't feel they were worth his time.  He's easily angered, confrontational and moody, but jokes easily and gives himself completely to those who are able to get close enough.  He seems complex but is very simple if you take the time to see him for who he really is.  

Friends:  If you manage to coral him into your group of friends, he's loyal and dependable.  He'll do anything for anyone in a pinch, a firm believer of karma. Just don't piss him off without a good excuse and an apology waiting, because he doesn't always forgive easily.

Romance:  Who says you have to be a lover or a fighter?  It's not hard for Rhys to fall for a girl, and he does so often.  He doesn't try to treat women like objects, but in the end he probably will.  Serious relationships aren't his thing, though that doesn't mean he's not willing to try.  Just don't be surprised if he screws up.  Big time.

Travis is sweet, mischievous and everything in between.  He's always down for a good prank, but also has a strong sense of responsibility.  His playfulness has limits and though he can toe the line, he never crosses it.  He has strong morals and in his old age has settled down.  Life can do that to a man, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like drinking and having a good time from time to time.  Travis is the kind of person who loves fiercely.  Get on his bad side and he'll put you in your place, but if you're close to the Georgia native he'll do anything he can for you.

Friends: It's not hard to be friends with Travis.  He's easy to get along with, charismatic and funny.  He usually has a good joke on him and a firm shoulder to lean on.

Enemies: It's hard to be enemies with someone like Travis, but it could happen.  He'll put you in your place if you do anything stupid, or hurt someone he cares for.  That alone will get you on his shit list.

Romance: Though he won't openly admit it, Travis has had a long time crush on one of his closest friends.  A crush he's terrified to admit considering the age difference between him and said friend.  He's had relationships in the past, but nothing ever serious and all with women.  That's not to say men don't catch his eye.  He's not open about his bisexuality considering his family's strong Christian beliefs, but he's not ashamed of who he is.  He's flirty by nature and would gladly chat up any pretty girl.. or boy.

Hey Pam, I been meaning to post in here for a while. I’d love to thread a few things with you if you’re up for it.

Karalie/Anthony - So my boy here has just gotten out of a relationship and is starting to spread his wings. I know Karalie is taken, but he doesn’t know that and I would like him to get shot down many many times in his pursuit of happiness.

Karalie/Sera - You said that Karalie is a rich girl who spent time in beauty pageants? Does she still do the pageant thing? Or is she still interested in being in the spotlight. Because Sera would love to have her model some of her creations.

Edgar/Derek - yeey PUSE members! So I haven’t had a chance of really getting Derek out there in the PUSE community/scheming, so this is a good opportunity. I have a feeling that Edgar might not like Derek because Derek happens to be a meta, so that could generate some conflict. But as sorta co-workers, they’d have to be professional about it, maybe during some assignment or whatnot, idk just some ideas.

So I replied the other night to this and realized now that my post wasn't there soo... yeah. I'll try this again.



Karalie/Anthony - This can definitely work! She would shoot him down, buuut she might be willing to stay his friend if that's what he wanted. Spoiler, in a few years Kara and Luke are going to take a break, and maaaybe if Anthony were still around, and single, they could hook up. Just a thought. Shh, don't let Luke know >>



Karalie/Sera - Kara isn't in pageants anymore, but she is definitely into being in the spotlight and is not opposed to her picture being taken! This could definitely work.



Edgar/Derek - Yeah, Derek and Edgar wouldn't get along. Very anti-meta.. but I would be down for working on an assignment as needed. Could be interesting! And heated..

Anyway…

Karalie/Anthony - awesome! I’m totally up for her shooting him down, he need that several times over, it’s what I made him for. As for his future, I have no idea what’s in store with that right now, he’s just kind of floating along, but if he happens to still be around during the breakup, then why not? heh heh

Karalie/Sera - I thought this would work well. The sewing club already had their fashion show back in April or May, so if we wanted to back-plot them as having already been friends and established as partners like this, then that’d be awesome. Sera would be working on new stuff now and might need Karalie to come in so she can re-take measurements(they gotta be done at least once every few months at their age because students and growing). Also, I don’t know if you caught it, but Sera also comes from a very rich family, so that just gives Sera another reason to like Karalie(because Sera is definitely that shallow).

Edgar/Derek - Oh, awesome! I’m glad I read that right. Derek doesn’t hide his meta status in the PUSE organization(though he doesn’t advertise either), so Edgar would probably know about it. As for the assignment they get stuck with, I’ll try and come up with something, but if you have an idea, then I’d love to hear it!

Karalie/Anthony - Well good news for Anthony, Karalie and Lucas may be on again and off again.. which means she could turn to him for some rebounding >_> but she may break his heart also XD

Karalie/Sera - I think Kara would like the fact sera has money. It would make her feel less snobby XD and we can deff backtrack a bit!!

As per discussion in the C-Box, I've been trying to think of a Time Warp plot for Anjali and Sean. You said that she might have visited him willingly, but about what?

I know that she was closeted. Would she have wanted to discuss that with him at all? Or would she have buried her interest too deeply to have been willing to discuss it as a student?

If it came up somehow, she would certainly talk about it. She might have liked to talk about it when it became clear to her.. She's a chatterbox when given the opportunity. Maybe an incident brought her to him and they talk about it? Would he see that on her mind and subtly ask about it?

To answer your questions:

1) How old was she when she realized?
I would say she knew something wasn't right at about thirteen when her friends were starting to get interested, and by sixteen it had become pretty clear that boys just weren't her thing.  I would wager an incident may have made her realize for certain. 

2) Was she the type of student who would have gone to the Talk before senior year?
She was definitely the type of student to attend the Talk.  Sex is something she is bashfully curious about.
