Eloise had been through a lot in the past few month... dealing with the fact that she had a twin brother. The small feud with her father that resulted. Applying and interviewing for both fashion and business schools... it was quite overwhelming. The blonde had even opened up her own Etsy shop since her dad had limited her funds, encouraging her to get a job and stop relying on his money. El realized this was probably a good idea, but didn't want to admit it to her father, just yet. She was still kind of mad at him.
But the project was the reason she was at the craft store downtown today. She had gotten four orders for beaded handbags in the past two days, and only realized she had run out of the small glass beads she used for them when she sat down at her work station. And of course visiting the craft store meant she'd be buying way more than just beads. Her basket was already packed with four or five new rolls of fabric, various jewelry making tools, ribbons, thread, and more. It was hard for Eloise to walk into any sort of fabric or crafts store and not come up with a million ideas of what she could make.
Walking through the tight isles of the store was a bit difficult with so much stuff in tow, but it didn't seem to become a problem until the blonde reached up for a roll of leather on one of the top shelves. Eloise was tall, but still had to stand on her tiptoes and reach way up to pull at the fabric until the roll came falling down. El jumped a bit when it fell, though she should have expected it. And in doing so, the basket she carried swung into a rack behind her.
Luckily, the rack was just full of feathered boas and scarves, but the metal rack was much less forgiving. And it only took a second for Eloise to realize that she had knocked the display right onto another customer. Putting down her basket, Eloise rushed over to push the rack back up and start pulling feathers off the unlucky victim. "Oh my god," Eloise breathed, clearly horrified about what had transpired, "I am SO sorry!"
