Carleigh never thought she'd be one to seek out Penelope. While not quite friends, she was sure that the pair were on mutually good terms. It wasn't as turbulent as it had been near the beginning of the year, when the British girl sort of, really scared the peppy blonde. Maybe intimidated was a better word. Either way, she never expected to willingly search for Penny; their paths tended to avoid each other, unless Lucy was involved. It use to be the only connection, but now she was hopeful to start something more.. stable.
She couldn't remember her exact reasons for coming to Room 406. Did she even have one? Carleigh didn't know. Part of her wanted to make sure that their conversation hadn't been some fluke; hadn't happened on a whim. She figured she'd find Penny here, studying for some university test likely, and have a quick conversation. Afterall, Carleigh didn't want to push her luck.
A quick knock on the door signaled her presence before finding the door to the common area was unlocked. Never one for patience, Carleigh let herself in, unannounced. The only problem was she didn't know which dorm was Penny's. Or if she was here, for that matter. Blue eyes crossed the distance of the dorm room, to a familiar looking girl with dark hair. She was sure that she'd seen her in a couple of her classes before, but never talked to her. Never found the occasion to. As time went on, the blonde grew more aware of just how little she interacted with anyone anymore. Not that it was necessarily a bad thing.
Carleigh stopped where she was, sure that by now she'd attracted the attention of the other girl. An awkward pause. "Hey!" She cheerfully started, settling into the outgoing routine she knew all too well. "I think I've seen you around before in a few classes. Carleigh." She introduced with a wave.
"Have you seen Penny around lately?"
