She could count on one hand the amount of times anyone had actually been interested enough to ask specifically how her ability worked. Not even her parents cared to know the specifics. They would rather pretend there was nothing wrong with their child at all, because in their mind she was afflicted with being meta as if it were a disease. An incurable disease that would make her have to work harder to get into heaven, but surely the Lord would open up his gates for her. Either way she was surprised he asked, and a little uneasy about it.
She shook her head slowly. "Like uh movie? No.. more like, from the person or objects perspective. Sometimes, if it's uh thing I'm gettin' uh memory from an' not uh person, it'll show it from uh different angle, but it just depends. Like, if th'memory's real emotional or somethin' sometimes it shifts perspective uh bit. It's sort've hard t'explain." It was the best way she could really describe it. She supposed she should ask about his strength, but it seemed pretty straight forward. Though who knew, maybe she was missing something. Either way she held back from asking. She didn't want to come across as nosy, even if he'd probed her for information first.
"No." She shot back, though there was the hint of a smile at the corner of her lips. "Yah must've been seein' things." She offered, poking her hip out to the side a little as she kept her arms folded over her chest haughtily. When he suggested she get on the stage she offered him an incredulous look in return. Was he serious? He didn't really expect her to climb onto that stage and dance to, of all things, the boot scootin' boogie.
"Ya'll can't be serious." Though she tried to remain stoic, she ended up failing miserably. The smile pushed at the corner of her lips, considering the offer. She wouldn't take it yet, though. He needed to sweeten the deal. "I ain't dancin' up there." Not without some convincing She thought to herself.
