Marcos sighed, closing his eyes for a moment as he leaned against the nearest wall. His shift was almost over. It was already late. Way too late. He opened his eyes then and looked up, staring at the moon. Yup, probably about midnight. Madres... This job was going to kill him. From boredom. And that was the biggest problem in this town! Who knew being so close to an Academy full of kids with super powers could be so dull. Nothing happened! He almost missed the drug lords and the kidnappers and all the bad stuff that ever happened back in his home city. But now in this little town with nothing around but those kids all he got to do was some scolding. Not that he minded. He liked being around to protect those kids. And- oh, was that laughter he heard?
He pushed against the wall to surround the building he'd been resting on and turn around the corner to see a bunch of kid with their... skateboards? He snorted. Ah, kids. Nothing wrong with that, except they seemed to be passing a bottle among themselves and laughing. Oh yes. Adults didn't need to hide past midnight in back alleys with their skateboards in order to have a drink.
Marcos sighed, shaking his head, and walking towards the kids. This was going to be a long night, but at least something was happening.
"Evening." He called as soon as he approached them and some fled away. Like roaches, he figured and turned to the one girl who stayed behind. "Well, you are brave." His thick accent showed even more so now that he was so tired,"Bit late for you kids to be here... Playing." His eyes went to the bottle left behind, "Drinking... water." He smirked at the girl and shook his head. Ah, kids. "Bet ya have an I.D. to show you can drink that...water, eh?"
