Second Meeting (Kailin)

It was only a few short weeks until classes started and Julien was onto his second year of university here in the United States. He finally felt adjusted, for the most part. He wasn't completely clueless about American culture and customs anymore, but he was still struggling in the social department. 

He was sitting in a rolling chair in front of the computer at his desk, editing some video footage of Kam skateboarding. Jade hadn't frowned upon him being in the office, especially when she couldn't be. She liked someone to always be there in case someone stopped by out of curiosity. Jade was on her last year of university now and she needed to be looking for a new editor in chief. She wasn't here today and neither was Zach, or anyone else. The office was empty and so he was taking advantage of the quiet to work on some video footage and also do some edits to the Vermont Voices website, which he was in charge of. It was slightly outdated. Oops. 

[Kailin Bishop]

Not necessarily new to the college campus, but new to the student roster, Kailin had been out searching for things to do and people to see. Her classes didn't start until early late August, and so she was searching for anything to keep her entertained. Hammel was back in session, so the students at Hammel were relatively useless to her current situation, and most of her family was gone. JJ and Savvy were in school, and the rest of the family that she had actually gotten along with were moved out.

There were few clubs and things that the student life activities director spoke about, but signups were later on, so she figured she'd stop by and see if Zach was in the campus designated room for the school newspaper. After all, if she couldn't bug him at home, she could always bug him at work.

However, as she reached the room that she knew was where Zach should be, she noticed he wasn't. Well, she knew where he probably was then; Asian Santa always knew how to catch her brother's attention in one way or another. It was too bad, though, that it was today. A slightly familiar figure sat in the corner, eyes glued to a computer. Where did she know him again?

"Hey, um, excuse me?" Kailin started, "Do you know where Zach is? Kinda been looking for him."
