Happy Seollal. It is late this year. I made a alter for my Dad. I did not have any food. I put a can of ornge soda. Ajima sad it was OK. Jesse my roomate is tring to make me use a sellphone I wont. I got no one to call he say I can play games I dont want to. Sellphones are stupid. I got things in my eers. Things to make the likwid in them come out. I saw the swiming pool. I never saw that big of water inside. It smelt funny but it was warm.

Happy Seollal to you as well, and happy birthday. I know it is late, but I have sent a homemade jar of kimchi with this letter to help you celebrate. Did you have fun on your birthday with your friends?

I am sure your Aijima is right. Your father would like any gift from you. Fathers are like that.

Cellphones are not very important, I agree. However, they will help you keep in contact with people over long distances, or if you need to speak to them quickly. You do not need something expensive or new, but a simple one for speaking with friends and family may benefit you.

Were you sick over the winter break? I remember that you had an ear infection last year; did it come back? Is that what the things in your ears are for? I hope you are feeling better now, and that you remain well in the future.

Swimming pools are strange things. Perhaps when it is cold outside, you will enjoy swimming in it.

Training here is very slow in starting, and there is much to learn. Are you fond of your new trainer? I hope that is so; you deserve to connect with your teachers. I miss speaking with you, and I hope you are healthy and happy in the coming months.

Thank you for the kimchi. Did you make it? It tasteed good with rice. I did not do anything spesial spesh fun for my birthday. Jesse's birthday is near mine for his we saw his dog Gam Bit. Jesse put kpop into the sellphone cellphone. I dont know how. I lissen some times. I keep the cellphone with me Jesse is mad wen it is not but I do not turn it on. He got it for me I did not want one. It is the same on the front and on back exept the front is like a TV. The things in my eers ears I got when I had a ear infeckshin. The infeckshin comes out that way. Infection. It is gone now the docktor sad it wont come back. I do not know if I want to go in the swimming pool. I think I am not big enugh. My new traner is Chas. He is not as big as you. He eats a lot of candy. As much as Jesse eats. You shoud come back soon he is weerd. I waned to send you a ramyon but they are to big so here is the sup part. Some times I see your doter. To check for you. She does not look sad. You shoud come back soon just in cas.

The kimchi was homemade. I found a local grocery that had all of the supplies I needed, and I am glad you enjoyed it. Did you share it with anyone special?

I am glad you are spending more time with Jesse. You both are worthy of friendship, and you seem to match well. Did you have fun meeting his dog and listening to K-Pop? I have not heard much of it or J-Pop myself since I left Japan; perhaps we can listen to some together when I return.

It is a nice thing Jesse did for you. I know you do not want a cellphone, but he must want to talk to you often in order to give you one. Have you tried much of the features? They are a bit complicated for me, but you will likely understand them more swiftly.

I am glad to hear that you will not have ear infections any longer. You looked very miserable when you had it last year; I would not wish that on you again.

Maybe your friends can go with you to the swimming pool. Swimming is often fun with friends to enjoy it with, and you might not feel so little with other people around. Did you swim much before arriving at Hammel?

Thank you for the soup. It meant much to me, and I enjoyed it greatly. I will try to return soon, though my training is difficult. Thank you for trying with Chase, and for looking out for Appoline and Cassiopeia. You do not need to, but it is a kind thing for you to do.

Meian-sshi,

Jesse tasted the kimchi he was not into it. Its all vegetibls. It is OK seeing Gam Bit. I dont like him as much as Jesse does. Gam Bit has a lot of spit in him and it goes everywere. Jesse says he is dumb and has no brans it is mean but Gam Bit is not very smart. Ty is better. Minho likes kpop a lot. Its OK but some of it is to aegyo. Aegyo means cute like acting like a litle child. Jesse got me Epic Highs music. They are good. Jesse teck texs me a lot. It is hard to tex back. I never swimmed in a pool before. I swimmed in a lake on the school camp. The lake is like a puttle in front the pool is deep rigt away. Jesse sad I need swim cloths to swim in a pool. In the lake I wor my jeans. Thank you for the picture. Is it where you are? It looks like Virmont. It is good you liked the sup soup. I dont eat it very much Ajima sad it is trash food but it taste like LA. LA is kind of trashy so its OK. I am riding horses. At work. Mrs Morgan sad I am the perfet weit for horses to learn to wear sadels. If I fall I have the armor but she sad wer a helmet any way. It is weerd to be hi up. Its better cleening the stals. Wen you ride a horse it moves and you dont. It is a litle borring to sit a long time.

Everyone has their own opinions on things. Vegetables, animals, music, and even cellphones all have different meaning to each person. As much as you and Jesse are very different, I am glad you have found friendship in each other. I believe you can teach each other, and become better people for it. For the moment, perhaps it is simply enough that you are close.

I am glad to hear you enjoy your work, despite feeling a little bored occasionally. I have never ridden a horse before - perhaps you can teach me when I return, though I may be too heavy for them to bear me comfortably. I would still like to meet your favorite horses, if it is not too much trouble.

The postcard is from the town where I am staying, yes. It is somewhat distant, like Pilot Ridge, but it is far quieter. Perhaps not more peaceful, but I have not been here long enough to say. There are many small shops, including a number of antique stores for reasons I am not fully understanding, and the townspeople are very kind, if skittish. Apparently, there are few metahumans here; my teacher and I appear to be the only ones in the last decade, perhaps more.

It will be good to see you again. Please give all of your friends my regards.

I dont think you would wei wey to much to ride a horse but you have long legs so you woud need a tall horse. Mrs Morgan has a lot of horses she woud have one to fit you. If you come you shoud bring your doters if they want to come. Mrs Morgan sais lots of girls like horses. There is still snow here. There is rain now to but most of the time snow. I dident see before but I see now that only snow is cold but rain makes every thing wet out side and in side. I mean wen it snows it is cold but only cold and wen it rains every thing is wet every were. I dont know how to say it it souns like I am being stupid. I fond Maine on a map. I dident know USA went higher than we are here. What is skittish mean? Is it like cats?
