One might think vandals would know better than to target a dojo, but prejudice makes for poor decision making. Josef Muller's self-defense studio has been vandalized, and both Grayson Sato and Percie Hobbes have come to clean things up and investigate a bit.

The soft click of Percie's camera sounded dull in the aftermath of the destruction of the dojo. She had volunteered to take pictures for the insurance claim (it was a neighborly thing to do from one business owner to another) but was also considering that she might use copies for her own investigation later. She'd heard other news of vandalism around town and wondered if the same people were responsible or if it were just random acts of a restless and ignorant populace. She moved through the dojo and did her best not to disrupt anything until she was certain she had taken enough pictures to satisfy the insurance agents. She put her camera back into her bag and set it on an undamaged counter top and scowled.

Before she began to clean up the mess inside she decided to take another look outside, considering if there were any shoe prints or other indicators of whoever had perpetrated the crime. She came up with nothing of significant interest before she headed back inside, picking up a broom on her way to clean up some broken glass. Her tennis shoes crunched as she tried to construct a scenario in her head. “Who does something like this?” she asked out loud instead with a frown.

This was the second place Grayson was helping clean up from vandalism. All over town there were reports vandalism everywhere. Pilot Ridge wasn’t a safe place for meta-humans at the moment. Most of the victims were meta-humans. Hopefully, the police would catch the culprits who were behind the attacks. To Grayson it didn’t seemed like it was all one person. Too much was happen in too short of time. It had to be a group of people.

The dojo was a mess. A brick sat on the dojo mat. A trail of shattered window glass followed. The equipment was shredded and thrown around along with trash. Cracks ran across the mirrors. Cleaning up the broken glass and trash was easy. The amount of things that needed repairs or to be replaced was going to cost the owner. It was a shame. What kind of jerk who do something like this?

Grayson stood out of the way while the woman walked around with her camera. Besides the mess Grayson couldn’t see any sign of who the culprits were. Maybe there was a hidden clue he couldn’t spot right away.

Grayson was in a foul mood. He had a lousy night sleep. Now he was cleaning up some jackass’ mess. Grayson aggressively tossed the bigger glass pieces in the trash bin. Grayson didn’t have any concerns about cutting his hand. He would worry about it when it happens. “Don’t know. Was asking myself the same thing.” He was able to keep the grumpiness out of his voice. The woman hadn’t done anything to Grayson. She was on his side. No need to be rude.
