California Dreamer: Dylan Evan's Plots

So this is Dylan Evans. This will be her second year at Hammel, and she's trying to change the way she looks at the place. Sure its freezing cold most of the year, snowy, and nowhere near a beach, but hey, there's got to be something good about it...right? A more positive outlook on the place will at least get her out of Vermont and back to Ventura, California, her home and sanctuary of all things good and simple.
In short, she's a tomboy, and doesn't really have time for all of the latest gossip, drama, and styles as far as fashion and shopping goes. She's pretty low-maintenance, and is somewhat low-energy, not too hyper or anything along those lines, but don't get her wrong; she's not a boring old grump. If you ever find a beautiful sunset, a nice beach, she'll do whatever she can to find a way to surf and enjoy the ocean. And you'll probably make her day, month, or maybe even year.



First and foremost, she needs some amigos! These people will most likely be all guys, maybe only one or two girls, but I'm keeping it very low in those numbers. If there are lower energy, chill girls that are kinda on the outskirts of the popularity and the Hammel buzz, they have a better likelihood of getting along with Dylan. As far as guys go, same rules apply. Back at home, almost all of her guy friends either skateboarded or surfed, but as some of the elements are lacking for those sports over here, she can't only make friends according to what she does herself. She has tried for the swim team, so there is some chance of making friends there. But basically, if you think you could match her interests and energy, lemme know, sign on up.


See, Spanish isn't that hard is it, now? Enimigos are enemies, foes, adversaries, rivals, etc. Need I go on? Basically if you don't fit in the friend category, and you've got a bone to pick with her, you'd go here. As I mentioned that she's not a very high-maintenance or high-energy person, its going to have to be a mighty big bone of a problem because otherwise she'll just roll her eyes at you, blow you off, or ignore you. Something really, really evil would have to be done to convince her of wasting her time on getting mad at you.


¡Ése es amor! This is boo-tang category. Actually, she doesn't find time in hooking up with guys unless after a horrible, horrible breakup with someone and only hooking up with someone she thought she could trust. But I'd much rather have the relationship kind of thing with her. More likely than not, it would spring up from a friendship and go from there. I'd like to see her find someone at Hammel, but if not, she can always find true love in a couple of years when she goes back to Ventura.

Ashley & Dylan

While not being a surfer or goes skateboarding, Ashley loves to take risks. That would be from skydiving to climbing up to an active volcano crater to being in a cage with lions or tigers. Ashley is also nuts about science, he hates school practicals, they bore him. He usually mixes all the chemicals he can get together and blows up water troughs. He would most likely be a friend, but he isn't dangerous to be around just because he's a dare devil. He would probably be a friend, since it seems Ashley's already been taken ^^

Ant & Dylan
Ant is not sporty. At all. Nope sorry, 'fraid not. However Ant has been trying to teach himself to swim recently (not so good) and would love to have someone who's willing to teach him. He's very gay I'm afraid so no relationship with them unless it's friends or swimming buddies! More like lifeguard and stupid person..

May & Dylan
Friends maybe. May isn't exactly a dare devil or sporty person. But she loves to just hang out. She'd probably go along with whatever Dylan plans and try her hardest. Most of the time she'll probably chill out on a towel and watch Dylan go, cheering her on all the way.

Have you heard of a guy named Garth Colbrith? He's been around Hammel for a few years, and he is one very chill guy. He likes joking around and though he isn't exactly sportastic, he is fun! And hey, everyone loves to have fun, amirite? I think he and Dylan could be good friends.

Cecilia is a cool chick, sociable and is easy to talk to. Even if half the people she talks to are dead

I think Cess and Dylan could become pretty good friends. She usually clicks pretty well with people, especially people who have lost someone. So if Dylan has lost someoen she would like to connect too, or even just wants to hang out and have some girl talk, give me a hala

Dylan & Ashley

I like that 'daredevil' idea. She's not a totally bouncy, 'lets go do this!' kind of girl, but she has her moments. Maybe Ashley can bring out that bit of her, convince her to go do something crazy! I like this idea. What should they do first? Where should they meet? Have any ideas?

Ant & Dylan
Alright, I'm not so sure about this one, only because I know that Dylan isn't usually the one to volunteer o teach someone. BUT, if she had a reason to, other than just passing him by, maybe she's be a mentor. Otherwise, I can see her giving him some simple tips, and going on her way.

May & Dylan
We can try this one out, and see how they interact. She might end up being more like an acquaintance because of the fact that she's not that great around girls. Usually she feels out of her comfort zone trying to talk to them or reason with them, but heck, I'm willing to give it a shot.

Garth & Dylan
Well I've actually not heard of him, probably because I've not been on Hammel for that long myself, but he sounds like a pretty good match for Dylan. I think they're going to need to be acquainted.

Cecilia & Dylan
If cool means 'chill' and sociable means 'easy to talk to', then I think we could be game. As long as she's not some hyper, spunky girl, at least not so much where someone could get a headache from talking with them for too long, then I think that Cecilia is an eligible bachelorette for one of the two open spots for chica amigos. We should plot some stuff out, although I must let you know that Dylan hasn't dealt with loss of anyone important in her life, so we'd have to find something else to talk about. He could bring out the daredevil in anyone, as long as you're not a telepath who can here everything the Voice says to him (it's like his negative side, only more independent). He *may* start taking less risks because of his new relationship, but maybe not. He's prone to forgetting that taking risks doesn't just hurt himself. Dylan might be able to find him around the school, or around the Lake outside of Vermont going for a mid-winter swim in the freezing waters. You'll probably have to talk him out of diving off the port.

Well Ant plans to show up for swim tryout... He'd probably get assigned a mentor-teacher. Otherwise. He'd just run her down, start blabbing, and SOMEHOW convince her to help him.
