Anna bit her lip and blushed bright red as he started laughing. Then when he said it was a real addiction she nodded. “Yup, wouldn’t recommend that high of a dose of caffeine all at the same time.” Then when he asked if it was before her powers she laughed and shook her head. “No no I didn’t mean like I was drinking that amount of energy drinks when I was like seven or something, but I did that when I was like twelve or something, just after my powers manifested.” She explained taking another sip of coffee.
Then when he asked about her energy drink schedule she shrugged. “One on a morning so I don’t feel too tired at the start of the day, one at lunch, one at about nine at night and then one at about one in the morning. Then coffee and tea between those times.” She said shrugging as if it wasn’t a big deal, because in all honesty, to Anna it really wasn’t a big deal.
When he offered the fritter, Anna was going to refuse, but the look on his face told her she probably shouldn’t. She picked up a very small piece of the fritter in her fingers and chewed it slowly, hoping he didn’t take this as a sign of breaking so that he’d think that he could give her anything else, or else she would just full out refuse everything.
She smiled and nodded slightly when he said about not being like them. Anna would have argued that many people at Hammel weren’t like that, but then again she didn’t really talk to anyone else so maybe people were like that and she was just different from everyone. No matter was it was she continued to drink her coffee calmly.
A laugh rose to Anna’s throat when he began talking about cooking. “Oh no you don’t understand, if I’m not told what to do and how to do it for how long, it will go wrong. I once was baking a cake, put the cake in the oven and came back to it to find it hadn’t cooked at all, because I hadn’t turned the oven on. Then when I did turn the oven on, I forgot about it and left it in there for four hours before we realised.” She said slowly. Yes, Anna was that bad at cooking, and not only that, she had actually been that careless with the cake batter. When he said about his personal chef, Anna just laughed slightly. “I’ll stick with cafeteria food.” She said smiling.
