Shopping in Vermont

The limousine drove off leaving the couple to themselves, that was exactly how he wanted it. He smiled at Cali, he did not expect the whole meeting the father stage to go that well. He sighed and stepped in toward the girl, he knew that Cali wanted him to get a phone, but he was going to make sure it was the cheapest one he could find, he did not like spending other peoples money, especially not people who were nice enough to give a stranger something just because their daughter asked. He was sure Cali felt different about it, but it was her money or rather her father's money and not really his to be spending.

He smiled at her, she had just said that he would make a great father, he wasn't sure, but he decided to take her word. He knew that parenting was a tricky thing and that he had probably ruined a perfectly fine exit with an expression of love, but at the moment he didn't care. "If I didn't know you don't lie, I wouldn't believe you." he kissed her passionately, almost forgetting that they were no longer behind closed walls, almost. He pulled back and looked at her with dazed eye's "Ready to go?" he said as he placed his hand against hers wrapping hers in his own.

Cali smiled "I do lie..just not to you. I can't lie to you." Soon she felt his lips against hers. Cali forgot that they were in public. As he pulled back she let out a heavy sigh. "thats right...we are here to buy you a phone." She said it a little slower dazed by the public passionate kiss. Taking his hand she walked to wards the store. Cali looked up at the sign and smiled. "Same network I have so it will be no minutes to talk to each other if you decide to get minutes. I have unlimited text and talk." Cali gave a happy sigh as she opened the door and her the little ding of the bells. Automatically she went over to the droids and I-phones. Cali wondered what phone he was going to pick. Walking over she picked up a droid and smiled. "This is the phone I have only in purple."

Cali looked at him and waited to see what he was going to do. She knew if it was her she would pick the best phone and the least expensive plan. But since she wasn't paying for her bill that wasn't what she had.

They made their way to the store in the dazed state most young couples were, especially in the ides of febuary. He liked the dinging sound of the department store for some reason it reminded him of jeapordy. He liked the idea of unlimited talking between him and Cali, he was sure that even if he ran out of things to say she never would. He smiled at the thought of endless conversations with the girl he could claim as his own.
He liked that the fact that she was completely honest with him, it slipped into his mind that perhaps the girls honesty was selective, but her announcing it only served to make him feel special. He watched as Cali walked off toward a selection of phones, he couldn't help but stare at her figure, she was built perfect. His eyes finally raised to the phone in her hand. He looked at the droid and smiled at the sentiment.

He knew that he had come there for a phone, but it was not with his money and if he was going to accept a handout it would have to be the less taxing on the person who's money he was using. He smiled and did his best to tell her how she felt. "I'm glad you have a nice phone, but I'm only getting this because of your dad so I'm going to use as little of his money as possible. He turned his head toward the cheaper phones and sighed, it must be fun being a rich girl.

Cali saw Steven walk away as he sighed. She shook her head and ran to him. "No you don't. You made me this happy you deserve something better then the crap your headed towards. So you get you but over to at least the Rants. The phones with the keyboards I mean." Cali grabbed hi arm and tried to drag him back to where she was originally. "My dad won't care sweetheart. After all you made his daughter his daughter again. He see's how much I have changed even if he won't admit it. He also see's how much we love each other." Cali waved a person over as she looked at Steven. "OK a good phone and a cheap plan. I want the best thing that ever happened to me to have the best that he can."

Cali sighed as the person came up. "Hello sir, can you show my boyfriend the good phones you have..something in a middle price range, maybe easy to text with, not a blackberry though because those break." The guy nodded and waited for Steven. "Please baby?"

His head went down as she dragged him away from the rinky dink phones that were used by those who did not know what the term texting was. He sighed and allowed himself to be pulled by Cali, this was not a battle he was going to win. He saw making Cali happy as something that he should be happy for, her being happy was a good enough gift for him anyday, the phone just seemed like a way to keep her happier when he couldn't be around her, but he was sure that fighting it would only serve to make her beg, please was enough.

"Alright." he said with a sigh as he raised his head and poked his tongue over his lip so that it's tip pressed against his lip ring. He turned his head to the girl and smiled, he wanted to kiss her but he knew they were in a public place and that was usually looked down upon. He grunted at the thought of stopping himself from doing something just because the public didn't want him to. He leaned in and pressed his hand against the back of his head while he meshed his lips against hers. Even though he felt somewhat bad for spending her fathers money, kissing her made him forget why it was he felt that way. He pulled back and looked into her eyes with a subtle smirk, "Only cause you said please."

Cali sighed as he pulled away. She hated when their kisses had to end. Leaning in she gave a slight smirk, "Can we finish that kiss when we get back?" That was the easiest way to tell him I want you more then ever. Rolling her eyes as she remember they had to get a phone. The guy showed them a bunch of phones, mostly in a row. Cali wondered what one he would choose. Suddenly her stomach growled. She forgot that she had yet to eat today and it was almost past lunch time. Cali sighed and hoped that she didn't embarrass Steven. She looked at him with her I'm sorry eyes. Looking at him she couldn't imagine any body looking any better then he did. Cali placed her hand on his. Hoping he would intertwine their fingers together.

Holding hands, staring into each others eyes, not talking and still understanding, love, all of these seemed cheesy to him, but with Cali it just seemed natural. He looked at her with a look that held in it a mixture of passion and understanding, "Later." he said with a smile before he turned his attention back on the clerk. He didn't care what he said, he just had to pick a phone so that Cali could be content. The sound of a strange growl purred in his ears, his head tilted in Cali's direction and he smiled, even the sound of her growling stomach seemed cute to him. He kept his mouth closed and let out a subtle laugh, he'd make sure to pick fast.

"That one." he said unsure as to which phone was being displayed to him. The phone the man held in his hand was a thin and silver oval shaped device that looked more like a metallic egg then a telephone. When he finally realized what he had gotten he laughed a little bit harder, "So you want the palm sir?" the man said in his best business voice. Steven felt awkward being called sir, "You know you don't have to call me sir." he said with a snicker as he gave the phone the once over, "It's company policy." the man said with a quick reply, "Suite yourself." he took the phone and nodded to Cali, "Come one let's go and get this so we can get something to eat." he looked at her stomach and smiled, "I'm starving."

Cali was in awe. He took her embarrassing moment and turned it around. He made her love him more then she already did, if that was even plausible. She just nodded when he said he was starving. She would have to add an extra kiss when they got out of the store for that. Cali walked up to the casher register and held out her fathers card. "For now a month by month plan is cheaper so we will go with that for now sir, Add the warranty and the unlimited text and lets say about 300 minutes. Oh and we have the same network so calling each other doesn't cost minutes right?" The cashier looked at Cali in awe mostly. She knew what was the cheapest and least expensive for Steven to pay. After all he said he was going to pay the bill so she made sure he had a cheap plan.

The guy nodded "Yes, calling each other will cost no minutes. The plan will be forty dollars a month." Cali looked to Steven before she gave the man her fathers credit card. She knew if Steven couldn't come up with the money some how she would and she would pay for his bill. There was no way she wouldn't do that for him.

Steven's eyes widened a bit as his head turned slowly in Cali's direction, either at some point she had worked in a phone store somewhere or she was used to this, either way she was well informed. He decided to fall back and let her handle this, he was relieved to hear that the bill would only be fourty dollars, if he had money to get weed, then he had enough money to pay for this bill. He smiled at the girl and bit down on his lower lip a bit before squeezing the girls hand gently.

He wanted to let her know that despite his reluctance he was greatful that the girl had taken the time out to do this for him, and he had been able to meet her father sooner which meant less awkwardness for him. He smiled before twirling his lip over his right ring once more.

Cali smiled and turned back to the casher. "Yes that will be fine." Sh handed him the card and sighed with relief as she signed the recipe in her fathers name. Cali took the bag and smiled. "Thank you sir." She turned and walked towards the door. "Sorry my stomach growled. It was really embarrassing." Cali held the bag out for him to grab. She wondered where they where gonna go to get some food. Cali would go anywhere that Steven wanted to,even if she didn't. Then again her dad was picking them up or something so maybe he was going to drop them off at a specific place. Cali sighed as she took the phone out of her pocket and stared at it. "Would you like to give me a big passionate kiss before I call my father? I hate not being able to kiss you when I want to.."

He found it cute that the girl found her stomach growling embarrasing, he saw it as endearing. That was enough for him to want to kiss her, "Don't be it was cute." he ran his finger up against the legnth of her arm. He wasn't sure why but her wanted to trace her, even if he couldn't trace the parts he wanted to. He turned toward the girl as she pulled her phone out from her pocket and held it in front of him. Though her father was a nice mind he could not do everything he wanted when around her it reminded him of meet the fockers. He didn't answer, at least not with words, he grabbed the girl by her wrist and pulled her in so that her arm would be behind him, he tiled his head down with a bit more force then before and planted a, until next time kiss on her. He felt his lips tingle as he retracted, though he had stopped counting ages ago, he knew that if there was a record, they had broken it.

"I love the way you kiss me. It's always different. Sometimes its a hard passionate kiss and other times..." She stopped talking and just looked at him. With her eyes she tried to tell him that she loved him. Unfortunately it was time for food so reluctantly she pulled her eyes away from his and called her father. 'Hi daddy. Yes we are done. No. OK see you in a few moments bye.' She looked at him and smiled. The rest of her life she planned on being with him. her mind just wondered what that would be like. Having a family. Cali giggled at looked at him. "What would you do if we got married and had meta human babies?" The imagine in her head was funny. All she could picture was him running after a kid that had super human speed.

The imagine was interesting. In her mind Steven was tripping over everything and their child was just zooming around the house effortlessly. Then the weirdest thing happened. She pictured herself holding a little baby in her arms. The feeling that gave her was strong enough to look at Steven and sigh. "I love you Stevey."

The thought never crossed his mind, he couldn't really stake out a clear difference between a meta human baby and anormal one, a baby was a baby to him. He raised his brow at the idea and clamped his canine down on his lip ring. He could see himself in a nice house looking at a baby only to have the baby burp out a thunderbolt or something. He laughed at the idea and wondered what the poop would be and if he would be to afraid to change it. He chuckled and turned to Cali, "I love it just like I love it's mother." he had thought about sueing the school for kidnapping, but put those thoughts to rest, if Cali went to Hammel it must be a good enough place for it to be left alone.

"I love you too Cali." he said this with a smile and leaned in to kiss this girl in a much softer way then he had before, though he still thought he'd probably make a lousy father he knew when the time did come that he would be a much better one than his father ever was.

Cali smiled as his lips touched hers again. It seemed like he really did plan on being around forever. That was fine with Cali. She definitely didn't want him to go no where. The yesterday and today where the best days at Hammel for her. Now everyday she has Stevey to look forward too. Taking his hand back in hers she sighed as she pulled away. "So what are we going to do when we get back to the school?" Cali raised an eyebrow. She wondered what was going on in his head that moment. All she knew was she wanted her body to be close to his, she didn't care if anything happened.

Just then a horn beeped. Her father was driving his own car. He pulled up and looked at Cali and Steven. Cali nodded. "ready to finally go get something to eat?"

He exhaled in a slight grunt at the question, he had not planned anything in particular, he decided to just let things flow, living in the moment seemed a lot more fun then planning ahead, and regardless of what decision he make as longed as he made it with Cali it would be the right one. He ran his thumb over the palm of her finger and smiled as they made their way toward the upcomming vehichle. "Yeah." he said with his voice seeming to trail of. Though he had no plans he did have a few ideas, most of which he would have to keep to himself while around Cali's father. He smiled and decided for Cali to lead the way, after all it was her father.
