William decided that it was a good day to go out for a drink. He had spent a considerable amount of time stuck in the school lately. Either because he was busy stressing over some of the young meta humans at the school or he was busy stressing over other trivial things. Such as loosing his glasses. This morning William had done just that and it had aggravated him to no end. After all who looses their glasses after just having taken them off? William had decided to make some breakfast this morning and he felt that making toast and eggs didn't require the aide of two little glass squares in a wire frame. So what did he do? Well naturally the man had taken them off, but the odd thing was, though he remembered taking them off he couldn't remember where. It wasn't something that he noticed until he had set down his plate of food onto the table. He had felt the impulse to put them back on and he couldn't find them on the counter.
So he decided to search around the kitchen for a while, much to no avail and that led him to looking through his bedroom just in case he had mistaken his actions this morning. However he could not find them for the life of him and it wasn't until he was at the point of ripping out his hair that he actually thought of something reasonable. Summoning them. Why was he busy running around for the blasted things when he could just summon them?
So he did of course and was thoroughly upset when he noticed how cold the wire felt against his skin. As if they had been in the refrigerator. He had stared at the glasses for a minute before he decided to send them back to their original place and go over to the hiding place in question. And lo and behold upon opening the door he saw them sitting there in the fridge, atop the case of grapes.
The whole situation left him rather flustered and he scratched his head thinking that he was going crazy. He resolved that he would go back to wearing contacts after today. After all looking around for a pair of glasses that he displaced was just stupid. Sure there was an easy solution but William wasn't really the kind of person who wanted to sit there and summon everything, it made him feel lazy.
Needless to say after all of that, poor William felt the need for some coffee. So he picked up his jacket and his keys and decided to go out to the local cafe and pick up some coffee and maybe a nice little treat. Ah yes, he could go for some food right about now couldn't he? Maybe a nice little muffin or something. Ah, yes a chocolate muffin.
By the time he got to the cafe the sky looked rather pleasant, the sun was shining from behind the light cloud cover. It was actually feeling like spring and he enjoyed that. It brought up his mood and made him want to smile. Upon entering the little cafe, he looked around seeing that it was pretty much empty aside from a select few people, someone on a laptop, some people in line and a few people strewn around sipping coffee. William walked over to an empty counter and ordered a strong black coffee and a chocolate muffin. He got his order and sat down at a booth next to the window.
