After four years of knowing Emmett Andrews, Sloane never tired of pulling pranks on her junior. He was probably the only one she even spent any time entertaining. The young man kind of reminded her of herself. Or rather, how she was in the academy. Relentless, mightily arrogant, hot-headed and a little selfish. Not the best qualities, admittedly but it had gotten her to where she was now. Emmett was still young. He would eventually grow out of those, just as she did. All he needed was that one person to knock him down a peg...or twelve.

Disassembling his gun had been an idea Sloane got from Emmett's best mate. She had scattered half the pieces in Emmett's apartment [key copied courtesy of Emmett's best friend as well] and the other half around his office. Knowing Emmett, he was probably seething by now, turning his desk inside out trying to find his ammo, which was with her, of course.

Partly why she was even in the building. It was her day off, thankfully - she did not need to be around Renee any longer than she needed to - so she had the whole day to be obnoxious to the young man Sloane treated like a little brother. Showing her badge to the security personnel at the front, Sloane pulled her hair up into a ponytail as she maneuvered her way through the building, recognising a few faces, nodding at them briskly.

She finally caught sight of the buzzcut blond with sharp features, ready to implode. Sloane hid the chuckle just at the tip of her tongue before approaching him. Leaning against a counter with a one bullet shell in her hand, Sloane cleared her throat and smirked. "Must be hard to look for things that way, throwing things around like that." Sloane turned to look at the young Marine.
