Punishment for Punching (Sean)

Live let out a long sigh and pushed the door open. She walked in, keeping her eyes on the ground and then closed the door, turning her back to the man at his desk. She turned around and made her way over to the chairs. She sat down and crossed her arms. She lifted her eyes up to meet his with a blank, angry stare. The expression on her face made it just how clear how much she didn't want to be there.

Live wasn't the worst behaved student at Hammel but she definitely not the best. Most of her offensives had been fights and getting in trouble in class. Usually she pushed against authority and rules like most teenagers. In Live's mind she wasn't really doing anything that bad. No one had died.

"So..." She said only making the tension in the room seem more real somehow. She really wanted to get out of the room as soon as possible. Live knew what Sean's power was and it made her really uncomfortable. She did her best to keep people out and this guy would just walk right in. It only made this punishment all the worse.

Live watched Sean as he moved across the room. She felt almost paranoid sitting there. All she could think about was the fact that he was probably in her head right then. It made her feel so invaded. She wanted to leave but she knew that would just lead to more of these meetings. Maybe if she made it through this one there wouldn't be many more to follow. Maybe.

To Live, she really hadn't done much wrong. She had simply responded to the actions of others who decided to wrong her. Of course that excuse probably wouldn't fly this time. Not that it had really worked before.

Her eyes sifted away to the left for a moment before she brought her gaze back to Sean. Live's eyes were sort of strange and often freaked a lot of people out. They use to be a blue color but since her power had developed had faded to an odd gray color. They almost looked the like color had been sucked out. "I don't know. Eight, ish." Live said with a shrug, almost like it was a number to be proud of. She didn't mention that at least four of them had been outside of school and three of them had ended with Live arrested and the school bailing her out. Her 'criminal' record might have also had just the tiniest bit to do with her mandatory meeting with the school psychiatrist.

Live knew that the number was to high but she didn't care. She wasn't great at expressing her feelings or talking about anything really. The only way she could even think of to deal with any sort of conflict was with a fight. Yes, it was not a good solution but it was all Live knew to do.

"Whatever..." She mumbled under her breath, honestly not caring. Live didn't care about a lot of things and one of those things was other people's opinions. Especially if someone told her she couldn't do something or she had done something wrong, that only made her want to do it more just to tick them off. That was the stupid teenager coming out in her.

"Nothing is causing me to fight." Live snapped not liking that he said it like there was some deep meaning to all of this. She just thought of it as what it was, a fight. Nothing more nothing less. Of course, there were a whole lot of reasons for those fights. Her mother, her brother, her father, other students, school, her power, stress, life in general pretty much. Live didn't say any of that though but of course thoughts of things that stressed her out or made her angry did come up.

"Look, just give me detention or some other crap and I'll be gone. Easy as that. Nothing to it." Live said leaning forward in her chair as if she expected him to write up the detention slip and send her on her way. She looked ready to run out of the room anyways. She could hardly stand to be in the room especially with a man who could just look right into her mind.
