PLAYER WANTS
What is your plotting philosophy? I'm pretty open for anything, and unless there's agreement on both sides, plot discussions are just throwing out ideas and possibilities. I like plotting, I like making connections between characters so that threads aren't constantly a series of first meetings. I like being kept informed of any changes my threading partners might have that affect our threads. I'm okay with spontaneous revelations (as long as it's not like 'oh, my char has a large cancerous tumor!'), I'm okay with plotted stuff. I do like a bit of a starting point, otherwise I flail a little with where to put things and what to do.
What types of plots are you interested in playing? I like familial plots, probably a holdover from playing Alex Summers for six years and never having a Scott. Woe. I'd like Tomer to have more dork friends to nerd out with. I like plots where challenging things happen to chars.
What types of plots are you not interested in playing? I am not interested at all in any of my guys getting anyone pregnant. I am not interested in any plot that involves killing/injuring/abusing Tomer's rabbit Clover. No extreme bullying without consequences, nothing Tomer's Uncle Josh would do when drunk.
How often can you reply to any given thread? I'll get back to you on that. *a million years goes by* No, hopefully I can reply within 3-5 days of getting a tag, depending on how strong the depression is with me. 2015 really kicked my butt and I'm still recovering, but I really want to get back into things.
What is the longest you're willing to wait for a reply to a thread? While I am patient, if the thread has something important/must be referenced in future threads (like an injury/illness or relationship, for example) and we have not reached the event in question, if my threading partner is going to be away for over three weeks I might ask if we can shelve it so that it can't affect anything. Past that, I'm pretty good with waiting however long anyone needs.
Are you open to RPing over instant messengers? If so, what's the best way to contact you and what times are you generally available? I would prefer not to do this, as it is almost impossible for me to post and chat at the same time, but if the thread would be best served with this method, I am not averse to it.
Are you open to post volleying? I am not. Short answer long, I'm just not capable of it.
Anything else? If I'm absent and you need to PM me, please use my Captain Omega* account. It's linked to my email and I'll respond as soon as I'm able.
PLAYER LIMITS
What are you limits regarding powerplay/godmoding? Please don't. If the other person writes in what I do, there's not much point in rping. Not every hit connects, following is not a given. That said, if we've spoken and planned things out, go ahead. I might still ask for edits, but... yeah. No biggie. RP is meant to be collaborative.
What are your limits in regards to romantic situations? I'm good with them happening either pre-planned or as something of a surprise, but most of all they have to make sense. Clement is never going to date a woman, and he's not going to become serious with any male he doesn't have at least a few hobbies in common with, for example. I don't mind age gaps, within reason. Your forty year old is not going to date my sixteen year old.
What are your limits in regards to sex (within the TOS)? The TOS's limits and mine are a venn diagram with a single circle. Fade to black and I are total BFFs.
What are your limits in regards to violent scenes (within the TOS)? As with everything else, any and all violence that happens with my chars must make sense. That they are in a situation where violence is possible with a char/chars who is/are not doing anything situationally or characteristically inappropriate/unnatural. I don't like getting overly graphic, but use enough detail to clearly get across the action.
What are your limits in regards to abuse/rape in plots? Abuse is a wide term, but relationship abuse, non-con, and dub-con are all no-go for my chars, meaning none of them will ever do any of those things. If another player wants to have their chars do one of those things to one of mine, I am not completely against it, but there would have to be a very good reason, much discussion and agreement, and any and all consequences would have to be willingly played out.
Anything else? Gawd this was long. Sorry.
