The BasicsName: Alena Milosz
Nicknames: Lena to some
Age: Sixteen
Orientation: Unsure
Desired Rank/Job: Student
Powers: Energy Constructs
Alena has the ability to create small animal-type creatures out of pure energy and emotion. They take up a somewhat physical form, but really can be described as having the appearance of spirits or ghosts, in a sense. The animal forms her constructs take aren't a matter of choice, but instead are a result of her current emotions. If she's happy, her energy construct might appear as an otter or hedgehog, but when upset could take the form of a snake. The constructs she creates are almost always smaller animals, with the only exception being a lion that appears when she feels extremely threatened.
Currently, she has no control over them or when they show up, as her powers are only just manifesting. Yet, her appetite as grown significantly since her manifestation has started, for she takes up more energy than the average person. If she uses too much energy, it can take a very long time to build it back up, sometimes causing her to sleep unusually long (usually a full twenty-four hours does the trick). Yet, a problem also occurs if she doesn't burn off her excess energy; Alena becomes extremely restless and if she doesn't manage to get rid of her energy she risks losing control of a construct.

Any Scars? Nothing outstanding
General Appearance:
Alena's been often told she dresses like a hipster. She's still not sure if she thinks this is a good thing or not, but she certainly rocks the look well. Her wardrobe consists of a lot of plaid button up shirts and pairs and skinny jeans. If she's not wearing boots, the Russian likes to bring out the high top Chucks. Although she tends to dress casually on a normal day basis, Alena isn't afraid to get dolled up, in fact she loves dressing up when the occasion calls for it, and on occasion she'll do so just for fun.
She's of average height, five feet four inches tall, and weighs an intimidating 118 pounds. Alena isn't exactly built for battle, for she lacks any real muscle, but if you ask her, she'll flex her arms and act tough, although she basically has the brawniness of a wet noodle. Regardless of her strength, she maintains an average size for someone her height and build.
Alena's hair is currently a medium brown, but it isn't uncommon to see her experimenting with different shades of it, and sometimes she'll even go for a tint of red. More often than not, it's worn down, and has a natural wave to it. She actually puts very little effort in her hair unless she has to - she thinks she looks better with bedhead than worn up and nice. Yet, she does like to wear makeup, and her mood depends on how much or little she wears. On the average day, she'll try to keep a more natural look, but rarely leaves the house without putting something on.
Personality:
Alena, to put it nicely, is a little peculiar. She loves people, and loves to capture moments of people, so you'll often see her snapping a photo with her camera or phone. The Russian isn't afraid to show her emotions, or really, cannot help herself. Hiding her feelings isn't exactly her forte, and because of it, she's something of an open book regardless of if she wants to be or not.
She often feeds off of positivity, and always tries to find the bright side of things. Negativity generally brings Alena down, and she tries her best to avoid it, which can also result in avoiding problems instead of confronting them.
Alena also is a bit of a geek - she enjoys reading comics in particular and has a love for vintage games and fantasy movies/television; the idea of living in a fantasy world fascinates her, and it inspires her to try and simulate a fantasy world in some of her photos.
Blogging is a huge part of Alena's life - she thinks herself as something of a photojournalist, but instead of focusing on the blood and negativity that news often does, she tries to inspire people with what she brings to her little corner of the internet. She loves to post anything from what she's eating at the moment to stories about nonviolent resistance.
When interested in something, Alena is extremely ambitious and eager to get started. She's so task focused on certain things that she can forget anything that isn't a top priority (read: homework). Although she's driven in certain areas, anything that she doesn't find important, she lacks the drive to get done. This causes her to come off as extremely lazy in certain areas of her life, particularly school.Your VicesLikes:

Siblings: Valentia
Any Other Important People: No real pets, but she will feel close with her energy construct animals once she gets used to them.HistoryAlena doesn’t have much to go off of in concerns to her early childhood. She remembers snippets, but most of the blanks were filled in by what adults had told her. Alena’s parents were young and happy, but reckless. There was an accident. Moscow. DUI. Alena was five at the time. The only thing she remembers was her babysitter waking her up, trying to figure out how to break the news to a five year old who had only hours before said that she was scared of the dark because her mother wasn’t there to drive the monsters away.
The next few years were a blur for Alena; she struggled immensely from the death of her parents. There was no family to take her, and she ended up in the orphanage and in foster homes. She never stayed with a foster family for too long; she didn’t want a new family, she wanted her own back. However, this didn’t prevent her from trying to be a positive person. She was genuinely upset with life, but she still tried her best to look on the bright side of things because it was the only way she could keep going forward. Even in foster homes, although she didn't want to be there, she tried to keep a positive outlook on things.
It wasn’t until she was eight that she met Rurik and Natalya Domachevich. They were different. All the foster families had always said the same thing; “We’re not trying to replace your parents”, but something about the way they said it caused Alena believed them. They gave her distance at first, and she came to them.
Her mood rose significantly, and over time she built a relationship with the Domachevichs. She lived with them as foster parents until she was nine before they officially adopted her.
When she was ten, Alena received her first camera as a gift for her birthday. It was a simple film camera, but she fell in love with it. Within the first week of having it, she had gone through six rolls of film, taking pictures of anything that caught her eye. Taking photos kept her busy, and it also made her start viewing the world in a new light.
Alena had been aware that she had a sister, but hadn’t been able to meet Vel until she was eleven. By then, Alena was much more comfortable with her situation – she was energetic, more positive than ever, and was even calling her adoptive parents by mama and papa. She had been excited to meet Vel for the first time, but also extremely nervous. When they finally did, Alena was shy at first, but it didn’t take long for her to warm up to Valentia. Within a day she had no trouble considering the other as her sister. Once her sister had to leave again, Alena made a point to try and keep in contact with her, even if at times it proved difficult to do so.
Being a late bloomer, Alena's powers are just starting to manifest. The first, and so far, only sign of her manifestation had happened last night. She had stopped off at a local convenience store, and while inside there was an attempted robbery. Alena had hid when she figured out what was going on, but the moment she realized the robber had a gun, an energy construct had burst out of her, taking the shape of a lion. It had manage to scare off the robber, and nobody had gotten hurt. The energy construct had disappeared once the danger was gone, and Alena had no idea what to think or do about it. Between the event itself and the energy construct that it created, Alena had no idea what to do except tell her parents the next evening [this evening] over dinner.
She has yet to be recruited. [Note: the recruitment will be played out and explain why she is in Hammel instead of Odarennyi. In short, she'll be put under Vel's care.]Roleplay ExampleHey, you should read some of my Penny threads. <3What About You?Name: Sai
