Here goes nothing. If you ask Greg to describe himself, he’d say that – prior to his manifestation as a telepath – he’s pretty normal. Or at least, there’s nothing that remarkable about him. It’s not that he doesn’t feel confident about himself, but it’s just that he doesn’t think that he should brag about it. If anything, he’d describe himself as your average boy-next-door with just a hint (or two) of wit, cynicismrealism and sarcasm thrown in for good measure.
Personality-wise, Greg’s quite a laid-back extrovert with a ready smile for most anyone. He needs and craves FRIENDS, almost always says that he draws his energy from other people, and thrives when he’s leading this said group. (‘Leading’ in this case could be anything from a group project to simply finding something to do when hanging out). He describes his brand of humour as self-depreciating, self-aware, abrasive and borderline offensive – things that might create tension with other people and thus lead to him unintentionally making ENEMIES. He, like most other teens, would rather avoid drama, but should a push come to a shove, he won’t back down from letting a few fists fly.
As for LOVE the boy’s only been in one relationship – a guy named Richard whom he’d known since they were in 5th grade. They were together for about two years now but recently broke up, Richard claiming he’s just not suited for a long-distance relationship. Despite being with a guy for two years, he however doesn’t discount the fact that he might be attracted to the right woman. He prefers not to limit himself when it comes to all things relationship, though he does say that he thinks he might just be a serial monogamist. (This despite being only in one relationship. The boy’s a woozy, deal with it). All this is mostly in the backburner though, as the boy’s main focus as of the moment is to get his shit straight when it comes to his powers.
Other stuff:
> He’s a huge sports geek. He plays (ice) hockey, soccer, basketball and volleyball, and dabbles a bit on swimming.
> He can’t hold a tune to save his life. His hips, however, are said to be quite the lethal weapon.
> He’s deathly afraid of frogs. To the point that a mere picture in an encyclopedia, for example, is enough to make him faint. (It happened once in 6th grade, as embarrassing as that might sound).
> He’s bilingual. Or at least he claims to be. While his English is impeccable (at least for a local), his French Canadian leaves something to be desired. (He had to learn as his grandmother from his mom’s side lives in Quebec and refuses to talk to him in English even if she knew how).
> He’s big on causes. Equality causes, especially. He can go on and on about white privilege, the problem of patriarchy and of course heteronormality, among other things.
> He’s a huge Mean Girls fan. Like, he can quote the whole movie if you asked him to. He’d like to be Regina George, but his friends have called him Damien-too-gay-to-function a number of times.
Feel free to send me a message here, a PM through chatango (commanderpeanut) or just call me out in the cbox. I’m down for most anything, so please don’t be scared. Thanks lots you guys.
